QUIET RIOT’s 2nd album “There is no tomorrow for the riot” released only in Japan following the debut work. A hidden masterpiece of young Randy Rhoads, who was evolving day by day, is a gift release decision. A full-fledged concert tour that George Harrison did for the first time after the Beatles disbanded in 1974. It was noted as an epoch-making tour that was backed by talented musicians such as Billy Preston and realized a co-starring with Ravi Shankar & Friends, but it was criticized for George’s throat problems and co-starring with Indian music. While the part was only released in limited books and movies, and the quality of the live sound source recorded at the venue was very limited, the sound board sound source of the Los Angeles performance was suddenly discovered and released for a limited time at the Bill Graham Archive. . Unfortunately, it fades out and is not recorded from the latter half of the concert to the end, but so far it is the only sound board sound source from this tour. The CD includes the Los Angeles Forum daytime performance on November 12, 1974, the first half of the only existing tour. The sound source material, which is partially missing on the monaural sound board directly connected to the mixer board, is restored with the latest edited stereo remaster. It is the first appearance sound source that has been upgraded from the original sound source. In “While My Guitar Gently Weeps” and “Something”, which were shown with arrangements unique to this tour, some lyrics were changed, “In My Life”, which was not self-composed, and “Four ・ 16 tracks including Beatles numbers such as You Blue, as well as solo representative songs and co-starring with Billy Preston and Ravi Shankar. Except for the sound source that was officially shown in part, the live sound source from this tour is a must-listen sound source that is different from the previous performances that have been circulating with the latest edited stereo remaster. On the DVD, “HARI’S ON TOUR 1974 FILM ARCHIVES” reproduces the entire concert in order of performance, excluding the Indian section, based on 8mm film images shot at various places on the tour. You can see the last half of the concert, which was not recorded on the CD, until the last “My Sweet Road”. Although it is a fragmentary film image, depending on the song, you can see George’s expression depending on the song.You can also check the video that George participates in the performance of Ravi Shankar’s song and the funky co-starring scene with Billy Preston. I can. It is a valuable film archive that captures George’s ambitious performance in the 70’s that overturns the unpopularity of the time. １９７４年ジョージ・ハリスンがビートルズ解散後初めて行った本格的なコンサート・ツアー。ビリー・プレストンはじめ腕利きミュージシャンがバックを務めラヴィ・シャンカール＆フレンズとの共演も実現した画期的ツアーとして注目されたもののジョージの喉の不調やインド音楽との共演を批評されこれまでその極一部が限定本や映画で公開されるにとどまり会場録りのライブ音源も良質なものが非常に限られていた中でロサンゼルス公演のサウンドボード音源が突如発掘されビル・グラハム・アーカイブで限定公開された。残念ながらフェイドアウトしてコンサート後半から最後は未収録だが今のところこのツアーからの唯一のまとまったサウンドボード音源である。ＣＤではその唯一現存するツアー前半の７４年１１月１２日ロサンゼルス・フォーラム昼の部公演を収録。ミキサーボード直結のモノラル・サウンドボードで一部欠落もある音源素材を最新編集ステレオ・リマスターで修復。元音源から見事にグレードアップした初登場音源となっている。このツアーならではのアレンジで披露された「ホワイル・マイ・ギター・ジェントリー・ウィープス」「サムシング」では一部歌詞を変更したり自作曲ではない「イン・マイ・ライフ」そしてアドリブの効いた「フォー・ユー・ブルー」といったビートルズ・ナンバーはもちろんソロでの代表曲やビリー・プレストン、ラヴィ・シャンカールとの共演含む１６トラックを収録。公式で一部披露された音源を除けばこのツアーからのまとまったライブ音源はこれ以外なく最新編集ステレオ・リマスターでこれまで出回っていたこの公演の既発とは別物の必聴音源である。DVDでは『HARI’S ON TOUR 1974 FILM ARCHIVES』としてツアー各地で撮影された８ｍｍフィルム映像を元にコンサート全体をインド・セクションを除いて演奏順に再現。ＣＤでは未収録だったコンサート後半も最後の「マイ・スイート・ロード」まで見ることが出来る。断片的なフィルム映像ながら曲によってはジョージの表情が判るかなりズームアップした映像やラヴィ・シャンカールの曲でもジョージが演奏参加していたりビリー・プレストンとのファンキーな共演シーンも映像では確認することが出来る。当時の不評を覆す７０年代ジョージの意欲的な演奏をとらえた貴重なフィルム・アーカイブである。またエクストラ・ビデオではプロショット・ライブ映像やプロモ、当時のフォード・アメリカ大統領へのホワイトハウス表敬訪問の珍しいニュース映像も収録。２０２２年最新リマスターによるＣＤ＆コンサート再現ＤＶＤを永久保存プレス盤でお届けするＧＯＬＤＩＥＳレーベル大注目のジョージ・ハリスン７４年ツアーの決定版！！
