1984 live recording by Frank Zappa. Although it is an audience recording, it is recorded quite well, and the sound quality is good although it has a slightly stiff tone. Most of them are played in a connected angry medley format, but the master has a slight lack at the beginning of “OUTSIDE NOW”, which is used as a disc switch. Zappa + twin guitars, twin keyboards and a rhythm section. Bob Martin also played Kan depending on the song. Zappa is already playing the Strat at this time, and the nuances of the arm shine everywhere. The drums are Chad Wackerman, who is also famous for Sting’s back. As always, I take my hat off to the Zappa Band’s high playing ability.

フランク・ザッパの1984年のライヴ音源です。オーディエンス収録ですがなかなか良く録れており、やや硬めの音色ながら音質は良好。ほとんどが繋がった怒涛のメドレー形式で演奏されていますが、マスターに『OUTSIDE NOW』冒頭わずかの欠落があり、そこをディスクの切り替わりとしています。ザッパ＋ツイン・ギターにツイン・キーボートとリズム隊と言った編成。ボブ・マーティンは曲により菅も演奏。ザッパはこの時期既にストラトを弾いており、随所にアームのニュアンスが光ります。ドラムはスティングのバックでも有名なチャド・ワッカーマン。毎度の事ながらザッパ・バンドの演奏力の高さには脱帽もの。
