される通称”ジョン・バレット・テープス”。後にその一部が『ウルトラ・レア・
トラックス』や「アンサーパスト・マスターズ』として登場し、最終的に95年
には”アンソロジー”で公式リリースされることになるが、その源泉たる”ジ
ョン・バレット・テープス”には公式にはまだ陽の目を見ていない未発表音
源が数多く含まれています。これまでにも数多くの同様企画もありました
が今回の『スタジオ・マスターズ：ジョン・バレット・テープス1』では現存す
る最良のマスター音源から収録。これまでの同名関連音源に比べ音質
がグレードアップした”リヴァイスド・エディション”（改訂版）としてさらに進
化した2022年最新バージョンとなっています。

表だったグリン・ジョンズによる『ゲット・バック』や”アビイ・ロード・ショ
ウ”音源さらにはソロ音源までも含まれていましたが、この『スタジオ・マ
スターズ：ジョン・バレット・テープス1』ではそうしたコンセプト別の音源を
除外して純粋にビートルズのスタジオ・セッション音源だけを収録。66年
のベスト・アルバム『オールディーズ』用に制作されたという「SHE LOVES
YOU」の疑似ステレオ・ミックスから「ALL THINGS MUST PASS 」まで未
だ”アンソロジー”で公式リリースされていない未発表テイクやミックスの
異なるスタジオ音源がまとめられており、音質も過去のリリースに比べ全
曲最新リマスターによるアップグレード・クオリティで収録されています。
