In the Beatles album-specific session series, there is a title “FOUR SIDES OF THE CIRCLE” from the same label. This work complements it, and furthermore, the 10 CDs of the sound source that leaked after that are divided into Vol.1 and Vol.2 and made into a set. Perhaps the most surprising title in recent years.

Unlike early live recordings, “REVOLVER” was recorded in 1966, where each part was carefully crafted and overdubbed with a number of sound effects. It is the beginning. This work contains the actual sound that bares the details of each recording for each song. It doesn’t get much better than this when it comes to revolvers. Permanently preserved press board with beautiful picture disc specifications.

ビートルズのアルバム別セッション・シリーズでは、同レーベルより『FOUR SIDES OF THE CIRCLE』というタイトルがある。本作はそれを補完する、さらにその後に流出した音源10CD分をVol.1とVol.2に分けてセットにしたものである。おそらく近年で最も驚きをもって迎えられるタイトルになるであろう。

初期のライヴ形式でのレコーディングと異なり、『REVOLVER』がレコーディングされた1966年は入念に練った各パートと、数々のエフェクト効果音などがオーバーダブされるという、レコーディングの在り方そのものが変化した時代の始まりにあたる。本作には、その曲ごとのそれぞれレコーディングの詳細を丸裸にする実際の音が収録されている。リボルバー関連でこれ以上のものはないであろう。美しいピクチャー・ディスク仕様の永久保存がっちりプレス盤。
