Ace Frehley’s video report, which was also well received for the superb view video “TUPELO 2021 (Shades 1430)”. Introducing a spectacular shot that allows you to fully experience a volume-up solo performance.
This work was shot at “April 1, 2022 Warrendale Performance”. That audience shot. “TUPELO 2021” was also the first report to inform the resumption of activities after Corona, but Ace is still striving for tour activities after that. First of all, let’s confirm the position of this work from such a recent situation.

This is the 2021/2022 schedule that has been announced so far. Appearances at the “Steelhouse Festival” in the UK are also planned, but everything else is in North America. This work is the 7th performance of the main “North America # 2” in 2022. It was a concert about 5 months after “TUPELO 2021” and about 2 months before “NEW YORK 2022 (Shades 1544)” which will be released at the same time.
This work recorded at such a show is a super-superb view video that makes you want to think “Maybe a related person shot?” It has an unthinkable perspective and a sense of stability. Looking down from the stand seats on the 2nd floor, this is a super / special seat. Looking at the center of the stage from the front, you can see the end of the stage beautifully. As a matter of fact, there is no zoom or camera work, and I go through the full show at a fixed angle, but that is not a drawback. After all, “Jergel’s Rhythm Grille”, which became the site, is a small club with a capacity of 600 people. Even if you don’t zoom, you can feel that you are right there, and because it is the latest equipment, you can see the details clearly.
The stoic feeling of this “position that can be seen best at the venue” and “fixed angle like shooting materials” … Both of these make it “this is like a related person?” Furthermore, the taste of this position is a colorful light show. The spectacle of lighting effects is often thought of as a proprietary patent for a large venue, but it seems to be a musty old-fashioned common sense. Even this in a small space! The lights packed in are frenzied, and because it is narrow, light with a tremendous density rushes like a flood. Because I abandoned the camera work, I can enjoy plenty of violent lights that make me want to put a telop saying “Please be careful about Pokemon shock”. In “TUPELO 2021”, the front row experience in front of the ace became a hot topic, but this work is the opposite special seat experience.
And not only the position but also the show is the exact opposite. “TUPELO 2021” was a short set because it was the undercard of Alice Cooper, but this work is a full set of over 90 minutes. Let’s organize them while comparing them here.

…… And it looks like this. The main point of the show is “TUPELO 2021”, but the increase of about 40 minutes is overwhelming, and it jumps out not only to KISS Classics but also to solo “Rock Soldiers” and THIN LIZZY cover “Emerald”. In terms of the number of songs, it is a gem that exceeds even “NEW YORK 2022” released at the same time.
The best seats for live performances are 10 people and 10 colors, but everyone wants “the middle of the front row” or “the seats for the people who can see the best”. Last year’s “TUPELO 2021” became a hot topic in the former experience, but this work is a representative example of the latter. It is a superb image that you can experience a full show of a large increase in famous songs from such a position. Please enjoy it to your heart’s content.

★ A superb view audience shot of “April 1, 2022 Warrendale Performance”. Even though it stands on the 2nd floor, it has a magnificent view that makes you think, “Maybe it’s a related person’s seat?” It’s a fixed angle with no zoom or camera work, but it’s still close to a club with 600 people. If the rich light show packed with lighting for a large venue is vivid, the full set of over 90 minutes is a full-blown video masterpiece.

絶景映像『TUPELO 2021（Shades 1430）』も好評を博したエース・フレーリーの映像リポート。さらにボリュームアップした単独公演をフル体験できる絶景ショットが登場です。
そんな本作が撮影されたのは「2022年４月１日ウォーレンデール公演」。そのオーディエンス・ショットです。『TUPELO 2021』はコロナ後の活動再開を伝える第一報でもあったわけですが、エースはその後もツアー活動に邁進中。まずは、そんな近況から本作のポジションを確かめてみましょう。

これが現在までに公表されている2021年／2022年のスケジュール。英国の”スティールハウス・フェス”への出演も予定されていますが、それ以外はすべて北米。本作は2022年のメイン「北米#2」の７公演目。『TUPELO 2021』のおよそ５ヶ月後、同時リリースとなる『NEW YORK 2022（Shades 1544）』の約２ヶ月前にあたるコンサートでした。
そんなショウで記録された本作は「もしかして関係者ショット？」と勘ぐりたくなる超・絶景映像。普通では考えられないほどの視点と安定感が強烈なのです。２階スタンド席から見下ろし気味に捉えているのですが、これが超・特等席。ステージド真ん中を正面に見すえ、ステージの端から端を綺麗に一望している。実のところ、ズームもカメラワークも一切なく、固定アングルでフルショウを通しているのですが、それが欠点にならない。何しろ、現場となった“Jergel’s Rhythm Grille”は、600人収容の小さいクラブ。ズームなどしなくても「すぐそこにいる」感があり、最新機材だからディテールまで鮮明に見えるのです。
この「会場で一番よく見えるポジション」と「資料撮影のような固定アングル」のストイック感……この両者が相まって「これ、関係者っぽくね？」となる。さらにこのポジションの旨みは色鮮やかなライトショウ。照明効果のスペクタクルは大会場の専売特許と思われがちですが、どうやらそれはカビ臭い昔の常識のよう。狭い空間にこれでもか！と詰め込まれたライトが狂乱しており、狭いからこそ凄まじい密度の光が洪水のように押し寄せる。カメラワークを放棄したからこそ、思わず「ポケモンショックにご注意ください」とテロップを入れたくなる暴れるライトをたっぷりと楽しめる。『TUPELO 2021』はエースが真ん前の最前列体験が話題となりましたが、本作は真逆の特等席体験なのです。
そして、ポジションだけでなくショウも真逆。『TUPELO 2021』はアリス・クーパーの前座だったためにショートセットでしたが、本作は90分超えのフルセット。ここで比較しながら整理してみましょう。
