ACCEPT in 1993 reunited with its founder Udo Dirkschneider and delighted metal musicians around the world. A masterpiece live album with delicious rare songs that could not be heard at the performance in Japan is now available.
It was “May 4, 1993 Lund performance” that was imbued with this work. It is the transcendental audience recording. Those who came to Sweden in the “90s” are quite keen on it. In fact, recently, the best recordings of a person named “Crazy Tapes” have been continuously excavated from Sweden, and it is a hot topic in the collector world as “Awesome skill has come out!”. We have introduced it in DEF LEPPARD’s “STOCKHOLM 1993 (Shades 1558)” and Alice Cooper’s “SCANDINAVIA 1991 (Shades 1572)”, but we have been excavating one after another. All of them are terrifying recorders who are the best. This work is the ACCEPT version, which is the latest in the attention collection.
First of all, the position of the show, as well as the quality that you care about. Let’s take a look back at the outline of the activities in 1993 that raised the signal of the resurrection in “OBJECTION OVERRULED”.

This is the 1993 ACCEPT. In the fall, we will have a large-scale world tour of “Japan → South America Europe # 2 → North America”, but three months before that, we will hold a reunion tour only in Europe. The Lund performance of this work was the 4th performance in the very early days of “Europe # 1”.
This work, which is a vacuum-packed scene of such a dawn, is exactly the best sound with “super”. The power chord of the first performance was fluttering and the unpleasant premonition exploded, but immediately after that (about 2 seconds) it improved quickly. I don’t know if the taper that surprised the sound was corrected immediately, or if the on-site mixer made a mistake only in the first shot, but after that moment, the transcendental sound goes through the whole story.
Speaking of its awesomeness, it was like a “sound board”. Or, if you are a customer of our shop, it may be better to say, “Why is there a” strongest taper in western Japan “in Scandinavia in the 90’s ?!” Actually, he is not the strongest person in Japan, but “Crazy Tapes”, but the feeling of extra-thickness, zero distance, and the fine details of the super sound board are very similar to the strongest collection. That is also the latest recording level of the 2020s.

Even if the sound quality is based on the 2020s, the show content is definitely in the 1990s, so it’s awesome. Moreover, it contains rare songs. Speaking of “OBJECTION OVERRULED Tour”, the masterpiece “NAGOYA 1993: DAT MASTER (Shades 1385)” that came to Japan is also new to my memory, so let’s organize the set while comparing.

… And it looks like this. As mentioned above, this work is the 4th performance that has just been reunited. It also tries out songs that stop immediately after that. The new song “Objection Overruled” is also delicious, but the extremely rare early songs “The King” and “Winter Dreams” seem dizzy.
And the highlight is the masterpiece of the split era. “X-T-C” of “EAT THE HEAT” and “Animal House” of U.D.O. will pop out! Both songs have been performed only in a few performances by Hong even in 1993. “X-T-C” sung by Udo also had a cover version of U.D.O., but this work is a live performance by genuine ACCEPT. Until now, you can experience the extremely rare performance that you could only imagine from the set list information with the super-superb sound of barefoot sound board!
Even so, a terrifying master taper has appeared. At the time of DEF LEPPARD and Alice Cooper, I thought it was a “coincidence masterpiece”, but if it was repeated so far, there would be no chance. The ACCEPT version of the shock series that will make you look forward to future excavations. Please take a look and experience!

そんな本作に吹き込まれているのは「1993年５月４日ルンド公演」。その超絶級オーディエンス録音です。「90年代のスウェーデン」でピンと来た方は、かなりの慧眼でいらっしゃる。実は最近、スウェーデンから「Crazy Tapes」なる人物の極上録音が連続で発掘されておりまして、コレクター界でも「スゴ腕が出てきた！」と話題なのです。当店でもDEF LEPPARDの『STOCKHOLM 1993（Shades 1558）』やアリス・クーパーの『SCANDINAVIA 1991（Shades 1572）』でご紹介しておりますが、その後も続々と発掘。そのすべてが極上という恐ろしい録音家なのです。本作は、その注目コレクション最新弾となるACCEPT篇なのです。
その気になるクオリティもさることながら、まずはショウのポジション。『OBJECTION OVERRULED』で復活の狼煙を上げた1993年の活動概要を振り返ってみましょう。

これが1993年のACCEPT。秋に「日本→南米欧州#2→北米」と大掛かりなワールド・ツアーを行いますが、その３ヶ月前にもヨーロッパ限定で再結成ツアーを実施。本作のルンド公演は、その「欧州#1」でも極初期の４公演目にあたるコンサートでした。
そんな黎明の現場を真空パックした本作は、まさに「超」付きの極上サウンド。開演一発目のパワー・コードがビビリまくっていてイヤな予感が爆裂しますが、その直後（２秒くらい）にサッと改善。出音に驚いたテーパーが即座に修正したのか、そもそも現場ミキサーが一発目だけミスったのかは分かりませんが、その一瞬の後は超絶級サウンドが全編を貫くのです。
その凄まじさと言ったら「まるでサウンドボード」そのまんま。あるいは、当店のお客様なら「なんで90年代の北欧に“西日本最強テーパー”氏がいるの?!」と言った方が通りも良いかも知れません。いや、実際には日本の最強氏ではなく「Crazy Tapes」氏なのですが、極太感もゼロ距離感も超サウンドボード的なディテールの細やかさも、最強氏コレクションに酷似している。それも、2020年代の最新録音レベルなのです。

サウンド・クオリティは2020年代基準であっても、ショウ内容は間違いなく1990年代だから凄まじい。しかも、レア曲入り。“OBJECTION OVERRULED Tour”と言えば、来日公演の大傑作『NAGOYA 1993: DAT MASTER（Shades 1385）』も記憶に新しいところですので、比較しながらセットを整理してみましょう。

……と、このようになっています。前述のように、本作は再結成したての４公演目。その後すぐに止めてしまう曲もバリバリ試してくれる。新曲「Objection Overruled」も美味しいですが、激レアな初期曲「The King」「Winter Dreams」には目眩がしそう。
そして、何と言っても目玉なのが分裂時代の名曲。『EAT THE HEAT』の「X-T-C」とU.D.O.の「Animal House」が飛び出すのです！　２曲とも1993年でもホンの数公演でしか演奏していない。ウドが歌う「X-T-C」はU.D.O.のカバー・バージョンもありましたが、本作は正真正銘ACCEPTによる生演奏です。これまではセットリスト情報から想像するしかなかった激レアなパフォーマンスをサウンドボード裸足の超・極上サウンドで現場体験できてしまうのです！
それにしても、恐ろしい達人テーパーが登場したものです。DEF LEPPARDやアリス・クーパーの時は「偶然の名作」と思いましたが、ここまで連発されたら偶然はあり得ない。今後の発掘も楽しみになってしまう衝撃シリーズのACCEPT篇。どうぞ、刮目してご体験ください！
