A big decision board of “Bon Scott era AC / DC” that you can see with your eyes is now available. This work is packed with 7 types from 1976 to 1980, 25 songs, and a multi-camera pro shot that lasts about 2 hours and 20 minutes. Some songs have been formalized in “FAMILY JEWELS” and “PLUG ME IN”, but unlike the official, which is divided into song units, this work contains each pro shot with the longest version master. It is a video work that allows you to fully enjoy the “Bon era” that shines brilliantly in rock history. Let’s take a closer look at each video.
[December 12, 1976 Sydney performance] The first to appear are the two songs “Baby, Please Don’t Go” and “Problem Child” performed in Sydney, three months after the release of the Australian version of “Evil and Hell”. Both are unofficial pro shots. It’s a valuable live video from the Mark Evans era, but what’s even fresher than that is the green and orange striped shirt Angus is wearing. Although my image is quite different from now, I’m already doing striptease, and when it comes to shorts, I’m still Angus (laughs). [April 30, 1978 Glasgow Performance] Next was the 6-song performance in Glasgow held about a week before the release of “Power Age”. The base has been replaced by Cliff Williams, but the more important thing is the live itself. In fact, this live is the most important concert that became the basis of the masterpiece “Guitar Murder Case”.
As a matter of fact, all takes of this video have been formalized, but the official DVD is divided into song units. Although the quality of this work is not as good as the official take, it is attractive to be able to see all the songs at once. “Dog Eat Dog”, which cannot be heard in “Guitar Murder Case”, is also very cool, but the real pleasure of seeing “the other side of that super masterpiece” in a professional shot is the best. [September 6, 1978 “MIDNIGHT SPECIAL”] The American TV program “MIDNIGHT SPECIAL” appeared four months after the release of “Power Age”. The live itself is one song “Sin City”, but the must-see is before that. That Ted Nugent and Steven Tyler introduce the band. [October 28, 1978 “ROCK GOES TO COLLEGE”] Next is “ROCK GOES TO COLLEGE” two weeks after the release of “Guitar Murder Case”. This is also a famous professional shot representing the Bon era. 4 songs are separated and recorded in “FAMILY JEWELS” and “PLUG ME IN”, but this work is a 7-song version that you can enjoy through “Live Wire”, “Rocker” and “Let There Be Rock” which are not officially recorded. is. It’s also funny how the host of the program starts playing impatiently while they’re explaining, and gets a sour look. Although it is a small in-house studio, the enthusiasm that seems to be packed with real fans is tremendous, and it is a name professional shot that truly demonstrates the true essence of the Bonn era. [July 13, 1979 “AC/DC COUNTDOWN”] The Dutch TV program “COUNTDOWN” appeared two weeks before the release of “Highway to Hell”. This is also officialized about 3 songs, but this work is a long version where you can also see “Bad Boy Boogie” and “Rocker” that are not officially recorded. The momentum of the band, which has become a breakthrough historical daimyo board, is tremendous, and it scales up at once. It seems that the call that occurs in the intro of “Whole Lotta Rosie” is not “Angus! Angus!”, but “Hey, hey, hey!” I’m here. [September 8, 1979 “ROCK POP IN CONCERT”] “Highway to Hell” was finally released, and the TV program that appeared while the whole world turned to AC/DC. It is “Highway To Hell” at “ROCK POP IN CONCERT” in West Germany, which has not been formalized. At a live show in the station’s studio, Sakura’s audience only clapped their hands slightly while sitting. Even if Angus steps out to parade through the audience, he still stops. It is a transparent program that the essence of the band has not penetrated while making a career and appealing to the general public. [February 9, 1980 “APLAUSO”] The last is the last professional shot that appeared 10 days before Bon’s death. Three songs from the Spanish TV program “APLAUSO”. Two songs have also been formalized, but this work is a long version recorded from the opening of the program. The most valuable thing is “moving Beating Around The Bush”! In fact, it’s a mime, but it’s one song that can’t be seen even if both “FAMILY JEWELS” and “PLUG ME IN” are combined.
And what’s more important is Bon’s last brave figure in his lifetime, with no way of knowing about the impending tragedy. Maybe it’s because she’s used to looking at the camera on TV, or maybe because she’s a mime, she doesn’t feel like she’s doing it, so she’s unusually quiet. However, it is astringent, and the expression that stares at me is very cool. Angus’ Hatchake first time does not change the stage, the contrast is also intense pro shot.
