The finest multi-camera pro shot is now available as a gift title. This work was shot on “June 24, 2016”. This is a BBC broadcast when he appeared in the “35th Glastonbury Festival”, a huge festival representing the UK.
The quality is truly BBC in the world. The image quality and sound quality of the latest digital broadcasting is the best. From each Billy Gibbons beard to one smoke particle is clearly projected. The camera work is perfect, the stage is originally simple, and the band has few actions, but you won’t get bored with various angles. Not only the stage but also the vast audience seats are cut in various ways, from the zoom of the Batman (audience) wearing glasses to the spectacular distant view. There is also an angle that captures the audience from 90 degrees directly above, so it’s hard to tell how they are shooting. The British BBC style is where the production is not intentionally flashy, even though it is so elaborate. To the last, “the charm of the band and the performance is the leading role” is maintained, and there is no sarcasm at all. As expected, the BBC has continued to record with the development of rock. The balance that creates a sense of document as a whole while making full use of the astringent technique that does not make viewers bored, and the balance of advanced shooting technology and natural sense are unrivaled by any other broadcasting station. It’s a superb image that seems to prove “the best in the world if you let me shoot rock”.
The “summer outdoor ZZ TOP” drawn with that quality also feels really good. “I’m Bad, I’m Nationwide”, which cannot be seen in the official video “LIVE AT MONTREUX 2013”, is delicious, but the mood emitted from the monitor is the best. The audience at the huge “Glastonbury Festival” isn’t just enthusiastic fixed fans, but the miscellaneous feeling is very summery. Flags of European countries are fluttering, and men and women of all ages who cannot read the layers are crowded. The appearance of ZZ TOP was still in the daytime when the sun was high, but there was plenty of openness even in the clear blue sky and sharp direct sunlight. Under such circumstances, an old man with white hair, a woman with dark skin, and even a child of about 5 years old, all types of crowds leave their bodies to Boogie and dance. 極上マルチカメラ・プロショットがギフトタイトルで登場です。本作が撮影されたのは「2016年６月24日」。英国を代表する巨大フェスティバル“第35回グラストンベリー・フェスティバル”に出演した際のBBC放送です。
そのクオリティは、さすが天下のBBC。最新デジタル放送の画質・音質は極上中の極上。ビリー・ギボンズの髭の１本１本からスモーク粒子１つまでクッキリと映し出される。カメラワークも完璧で、元々シンプルなステージ、かつアクションも少ないバンドなわけですが、多彩なアングルで飽きさせない。ステージだけでなく広大な客席のカットも多彩で、眼鏡をかけたバットマン（観客）のズームからスペクタクルな遠景まで多種多様。90度真上から観客を捉えるアングルもあり、一体どうやって撮影しているのか分からないほどです。それだけ凝りに凝っていながら、わざとらしく派手な演出になっていないところが英国BBC式。あくまでも“バンドと演奏の魅力が主役”が貫かれ、嫌味がまったくない。さすが、ロックの発展と共に記録し続けてきたBBC。視聴者に飽きさせない渋いテクニックを駆使しながら全体ではドキュメント感を醸し出すバランス、高度な撮影技術と自然なセンスの両立は、他のいかなる放送局の追随も許さない。“ロックを撮らせたら世界一”を証明するかのような超極上映像なのです。
そのクオリティで描かれる“夏の野外のZZ TOP”がまた、何ともイイ感じ。オフィシャル映像『LIVE AT MONTREUX 2013』では観られない「I’m Bad, I’m Nationwide」が美味しかったりもするのですが、それ以上にモニターから発散されるムードが最高。巨大な“グラストンベリー・フェス”の観客は、熱烈な固定ファンばかりというわけではないのですが、その雑多感がえらく夏っぽい。ヨーロッパ各国の国旗がたなびき、層の読めない老若男女が渾然とひしめく。ZZ TOPの出演はまだ陽の高い日中だったのですが、抜けるような青空や鋭い直射日光までもが開放感たっぷり。そんな中で白髪の老人が、浅黒い肌の女性が、果ては５歳くらいの子どもに至るまで、あらゆるタイプの群衆が思い思いにブギーに身体を任せ、揺れ踊る。もちろん、明るい日中なので髭のコスプレイヤーたちもしっかり・大量に映っています。
結成50年にして、メンバーチェンジもなくブギをかき鳴らし続けるZZ TOP。あらゆる人種・世代の壁を超えて熱狂させるロックンロールを超・極上クオリティで捉えきった傑作映像です。
