In 1990, VIXEN was in the middle of a golden age, having released their two major works, “VIXEN” and “REV IT UP.” Two new excavation masters who convey the site are newly excavated! The unparalleled beauty of these two works will be released at the same time.
This work is the first of two simultaneous releases. This is a powerful audience recording of “September 7, 1990 Manchester Performance”. They achieved great success with two albums, but disbanded after completing the world tour accompanying “REV IT UP.” Their golden age came to an end. First, let’s look back at its activity history and confirm the position of this work.

“activity break”

This is VIXEN in 1990/1991. At our store, the professional shot gift work “REV IT UP IN GERMANY” has also been well received, but that was released in 1991 during the latter half of the tour. On the other hand, the Manchester performance of this work is the 5th performance of “Europe #1” at the beginning of the tour soon after “REV IT UP” was released. The concert was held 4 days before (3 performances before) the simultaneously released sister work “NOTTINGHAM 1990 (Shades 1826)”.
This work recorded at such a show has an excellent clear sound. This is a recording collection by Stephane, which is becoming a hot topic of conversation, and it is a masterpiece that was digitized directly from the original master. Although it is not the type that can be mistaken for a sound board in terms of tone, the atmosphere is detailed and neat. Each note overlaps but does not mix together, creating a fresh and beautiful sound. If you compare it to Japanese recording, it is the type that makes you feel the “beauty unique to the audience” like the prestigious Kinney.
In fact, although it’s not quite as good as its sister work “NOTTINGHAM 1990” in terms of its strong core thrust, on the other hand, the strength of this work is its heavy bass. I think this has something to do with the sound output at the scene, but the hall sound adds depth and dynamism, and the bass and bass drum are powerful. Moreover, the outline is solid, and you can clearly enjoy the groove created by the successive notes. Not only is it beautiful, but it also gives a sense of balance.
Also, the main point of this work is the excitement at the scene. They were also called the “female version of BON JOVI,” but that was not a joke but a compliment. Especially in the UK at the time, BON JOVI was at its peak, hitting No. 1 on the charts, and as they were being compared to that, their popularity was on the rise. In this work, the performance sound is the main character, but the excitement is also firmly included. I can literally feel the noisy British bastards welcoming me with open arms.
What creates such enthusiasm is the ultimate greatest hits, which can be called the essence of the golden age. Finally, arrange the set and experience its luxury.

The famous band VIXEN was a pioneer of HR/HM girl bands and was also called the “female version of BON JOVI.” This is the simultaneous release of a beautiful sister live album that vacuum-packs the scenes where these girls shined most dazzlingly. Although his sister work “NOTTINGHAM 1990” may have a sound that appeals to everyone, it is this work that allows you to feel the heat of the times with a tingling sensation. Although they have different tastes, both are masterpieces of master craftsmanship that cannot be avoided. Please enjoy it to the fullest!
