The “FAIR WARNING” era, which is also a hidden gem of live sound sources while making one of the most famous records even in the Olimen era. The highest peak recording that conveys the scene is now available.
“June 19, 1981 Los Angeles performance” is imbued in this work. It is the masterpiece audience recording. The “FAIR WARNING Tour” is an era known for being the least blessed with recordings in VAN HALEN history. There are a certain number of recordings themselves, but most of them are strict in terms of quality. In our shop, although the 5-disc masterpiece “THREE WARNING (Shades 165)”, which sets recordings of masterpieces or more, is a standard, other than that, almost all of them have continued to be annihilated. This work is a superb live album that puts an end to such a situation. First of all, let’s check the positional relationship with “THREE WARNING” in the full view of the activities at that time.

《“FAIR WARNING” released on April 29》
・ May 12: Halifax performance
* May 15 “THREE WARNING (Disc 1-2)”
・May 16-June 18 (20 performances)
*June 19th: Los Angeles performance ← This work
・June 20-July 31 (24 performances)
*August 2 “THREE WARNING (Disc 3)”
・August 3-October 6 (28 performances)
* October 7 “THREE WARNING (Disc 4-5)”
・October 9-25 (9 performances)
*Note: Performances marked with an asterisk (*) are from our collection.

This is the 1981 VAN HALEN. Although the performance country is omitted, it is actually all North America. It was the only North American tour without overseas performances in the Olimen era. The Los Angeles performance of this work was the 23rd concert.
This vacuum-packed version of such a show is a traditional recording that is also known for its analog bootleg “HOME GROUND (VH-619)”, which boasts legendary popularity for its core collector feeling. This work is an inscription that has been precisely digitized from the finest quality board of “HOME GROUND”. In fact, the sound is the highest peak of the “FAIR WARNING Tour”. Although it is an audience-like sound that sucks in the hall noise, the core that penetrates the air is powerful and the details are delicate.
And what is worth mentioning is the beauty of the sound. There is no dubbing deterioration / aging deterioration just because it is caused from the legendary analog board, and even the subtleties are glossy without distortion or twist. It stretches straight through the center of the crystal-clear atmosphere and makes the edge shine sharply rather than cloudy. Of course, it also gives the ensemble a dynamic thickness and a sense of unity, and it is also a name recording that embodies “beauty because it is an audience”.
The unexplored “FAIR WARNING Tour” is depicted with such a sharp sound. Let’s organize a full set unlike any other tour.

● Martial law (6 songs)
・Sinner’s Swing!(★★)/Hear About It Later(★)/So This Is Love?/Sunday Afternoon In The Park(★★)/Mean Street/Unchained
● Classics (10 songs)
・Flame Tinder: On Fire/Jamie’s Cryin’/Runnin’ With The Devil/Ice Cream Man/Feel Your Love Tonight/You Really Got Me/Ain’t Talkin’ ‘Bout Love
・Others: Dance The Night Away/Romeo Delight/Everybody Wants Some!!
* Note: “★” marks are songs that will be sealed for over 30 years. In particular, the “★★” marks are limited songs only for this tour.

… and it looks like this. “Flame Tinder (7 songs)” and “Martial Law (6 songs)” are two axes. The “Feel Your Love Tonight” area, which is sealed until the Gary Sherone era, is also surprisingly valuable, but the must-listen is the “Martial Law” number. In particular, “Sinner’s Swing!”, “Hear About It Later”, and “Sunday Afternoon In The Park”, which will not be played after this tour, are extremely rare.
Even so, “Hear About It Later” was played several times during the reunion era, but the masterpiece “Sinner’s Swing!” Was only played on this tour. Also, “Sunday Afternoon In The Park” is also a limited song. The instrumental overture with undulating synths is valuable and not interesting … I thought, but the flow of “Romeo Delight” instead of “One Foot Out the Door” is strangely cool! This is another famous scene that symbolizes the “FAIR WARNING Tour”, and you can experience it with clear, heart-wrenching sound.
“FAIR WARNING” is one of the most popular songs of all time, even though it has no hit singles. It is the highest peak of the live album that will give you a valuable repertoire with the band potential that created that famous board. It was introduced from the Shades label with the expectation of excavating the original master, but it is a masterpiece that is suitable for permanent preservation press. A traditional recording perfect for experiencing the taste of a tour known to those in the know. Please fully enjoy this work of the best transfer.

Sinner’s Swing!(★★)/Hear About It Later(★)/So This Is Love?/Sunday Afternoon In The Park(★★)/Mean Street/Unchained
On Fire/Jamie’s Cryin’/Runnin’ With The Devil/Ice Cream Man/Feel Your Love Tonight/You Really Got Me/Ain’t Talkin’ ‘Bout Love
Dance The Night Away/Romeo Delight/Everybody Wants Some!!

特に、このツアーの後は演奏されなくなる「Sinner’s Swing!」「Hear About It Later」「Sunday Afternoon In The Park」は激レアです。
また、同じく限定曲なのが「Sunday Afternoon In The Park」。

激レアな「Sinner’s Swing!」「Hear About It Later」「Sunday Afternoon In The Park」も美味しい“FAIR WARNING Tour”のフルショウを極上体験できます。
