If the upper version of “PONTIAC 1981 1ST NIGHT” was released last week, this time it will be the second day of the Silver Dome release. This is also a multitrack recording for radio released by WOLF GANG’S VAULT in 2007, and many items were created from its outstanding sound quality. However, like “1ST NIGHT”, it was a sound source that was distributed with the technology at the time of 2007, so I was interested in the texture of mp3 at that time, which was already shuffled as of 2007 as well as now. Still, it was a decent stereo sound board, so enthusiasts were grateful to hear it.

However, WOLF GANG’S VAULT changed the site name to CONCERT VAULT, and the sound quality improved dramatically. Originally, a new upper version should have been released at that time, but it was buried in the shock of the release of the multi-track sound source of the further Stones 1981 tour that was realized at the same time. In addition, CONCERT VAULT, which was able to easily listen to the sound source at one time, also reduced the scale of distribution, and now it is said that this sound source is also a short version.

先週「PONTIAC 1981 1ST NIGHT」のアッパー版がリリースされたとなれば、今回は当然シルバードーム二日目のリリースが実現します。こちらもまた2007年当時にWOLFGANG’S VAULTが公開してくれたラジオ用マルチトラック録音であり、その抜群の音質から多くのアイテムが生み出されたものでした。しかし「1ST NIGHT」同様2007年当時のテクノロジーで配信されていた音源ですので、現在はもとより、2007年の時点でも既にシュワシュワした当時のmp3然とした質感が気になったものです。それでもれっきとしたステレオ・サウンドボードだったことからマニアはありがたく聞き込んだものでした。
ところがWOLFGANG’S VAULTがサイト名をCONCERT VAULT頃には音質が飛躍的に向上。本来であればその時点で新たなアッパー版がリリースされるべきだったのですが、同時に実現したさらなるストーンズ1981年ツアーのマルチトラック音源公開という衝撃の中で埋もれてしまっていたのです。おまけに一時は簡単に音源を聞くことができたCONCERT VAULTも配信の規模を縮小、現在ではこちらの音源もショートバージョンとなってしまったという。
