Sting’s new album “THE BRIDGE”, which is the first original album in five years that is neither a re-recording nor a collaboration, is also popular. A masterpiece video that allows you to fully experience the latest stage from a super special seat is now available.
This work was filmed at “Reims Performance on October 5, 2022”. It is the super superb view audience shot. The biggest point of this work is which side is the “super superb view”, but before that, the position of the show. Let’s take a look at the current schedule.

This is the schedule for 2022/2023 that has been announced so far. Until last year, it was small due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but this year it quickly surpassed 100 performances, and it is already full until early spring next year. Sting has always been a workaholic, but he seems to be getting more and more high-spirited even beyond his 70th birthday. The Lance performance of this work was the ninth performance of “Europe # 3”, which is also the largest leg.
This work, which is a vacuum-packed version of such a show, is an extremely close-up moretsu (dead language) shot. The field of view is almost front row. The reason why I added “almost almost” here is that sometimes a shadow that seems to be the head of the front row is reflected at the bottom of the screen. However, it disappears in an instant and does not hide Sting’s appearance. I can’t lie, so I won’t say “front row shot”, but if I don’t say it, it’s almost a front row shot.
What’s more, I zoomed in even further due to the sense of proximity. As expected, if I zoom in with the function fully open, my face will be out of the screen, so I didn’t go that far, but on the contrary, it means that I can freely sense any distance. Both the whole body and the waist up are held down at angles that are cool and addictive to the screen. It is a transcendent video that makes you experience “Sting Monopoly”.

… and it looks like this. The set of killer songs from the masterpieces of the 70’s/80’s/90’s is extremely well-balanced. And there are four new songs that are scattered there. Three songs “If It’s Love”, “For Her Love” and “Rushing Water” were selected from “THE BRIDGE”, and “What Could Have Been” was also shown. This is a collaboration song with Taiwanese violinist Ray Cheng, and is also an insert song for Netflix’s anime work “Arcane”. Although the premiere was at the end of last year, it is a super rare song that has only been played on a few fingers.
Recently, multi-camera works edited in the style of professional shots have become popular, but the true thrill of the audience is the one-camera experience. It’s all about being able to taste the show that you can’t actually see. The front row shot can be said to be the highest peak experience. No matter what band / musician you get the front row ticket, the tension will explode, but you can taste it at Sting. One piece that such a dream has become a shape.
