The 2021 version of the “NO FILTER Tour” has finally been completed. The popular multi-camera editing audience shot series will be released at the same time this week as well!
This work is the first one. This is the “October 29, 2021 Tampa Performance” edition. In recent years, it is a multi-camera work of audience video that has evolved remarkably, but the 2021 version “NO FILTER Tour” is the cutting edge. Not only the degree of perfection that was created, but also the production speed was amazing. In the past, it was like only a few famous shows since the end of the tour (or after the end), but now it’s almost like running alongside the tour in real time. It was a rush that could catch up with the fastest live album. Although such a series introduced most of the performances, it is not “all”. Above, all 14 performances. The tour has already been completed, and this week we will be showing the footage of the final Hollywood performance. Meanwhile, only the Tampa performance of this work is in the middle of the tour. It was the 8th concert that had just returned.
This work, which appeared late, is a superb image that is worth the wait. The creation of multi-camera seems to be familiar to me in the masterpieces so far, but it is still the voice that is surprising. Yes, that “Markbot” recording is used in this work. As anyone who has noticed this article knows, this recording is also familiar to our press masterpiece “TAMPA 2021”. A milestone that raises the quality standard of the 2021 version of “NO FILTER Tour” to writing, not just the dimension of the best recording of the day. Nowadays, it is a famous recording in Meiroku that is literally talked about as a standard of high quality, such as “approaching that tampa” and “may exceed that tampa”.
If you have experienced the press board “TAMPA 2021”, you may have realized it, but the biggest beauty of this recording is the extremely on-direct feeling. The awesomeness was the best in the live album, but this is also perfect for multi-camera video. After all, the viewpoint changes rapidly, so if the direction and distance of the sound are strong, a gap will be created between the scene and the sound. However, if it is a super direct sound that does not have a sense of distance in the first place, the performance itself will stand out in any scene, and there will be no sense of discomfort. You can understand this area if you imagine an official video work.
This work has reached the quality that can be the best masterpiece in the series due to the superb sound, but the content of the show is also missing. Organize your set as usual to explain what that means.

It was the only live that “19th Nervous Breakdown” wasn’t played on that day, but instead there were plenty of rare songs. “Get Off of My Cloud” and “Beast of Burden” are songs that I played only twice in the whole tour, and “Sad Sad Sad” and “Far Away Eyes” that debuted on this day were not played after that, so after all This day was unique.
The best of all is “Sad Sad Sad”. The sharp nori by Steve is also a cool masterpiece, but on the other hand, it became a hot topic in the guitar solo that completely removed the sound. In this work, you can see that stray performance with a video. I don’t know if it’s because of the material image or the kindness of the editor, but it’s strange that Keith’s hands aren’t up to date.
In the commentary of the press board “TAMPA 2021”, it was introduced that “sound quality is good, performance is good, and even a rare repertoire has appeared”, but this work also comes with a multi-camera image that is just like a professional shot. The footage of all the performances has not been released yet, and it is possible that more complete multi-camera footage will not appear. However, it’s definitely a masterpiece at the moment, and it’s a masterpiece that should be offered on a press DVD. 本作は、その第一弾。「2021年10月29日タンパ公演」篇です。近年、目覚ましく進化しているオーディエンス映像のマルチカメラ作品ですが、2021年版“NO FILTER Tour”はその最先端。作り込まれた完成度はもちろんの事、制作スピードも目を見張るモノがありました。以前はツアー終盤（あるいは終了後）になってから有名なショウだけ何本か……という感じでしたが、現在ではほとんどツアーと併走するようなリアルタイム感。最速のライヴアルバムにも追いつきかねないラッシュでした。そんなシリーズもほとんどの公演をご紹介したものの、「全部」でもない。まずは今週も日程でコレクションを整理し直してみましょう。

以上、全14公演。すでにツアーは全日程を終了しており、今週は最終ハリウッド公演の映像まで登場する事になりました。そんな中にあって本作のタンパ公演だけはツアー中盤。折り返したばかりの８公演目にあたるコンサートでした。
遅れて登場した本作は、待った甲斐のある極上映像。マルチカメラの作り込みはこれまでの名作群で見慣れた感もあるのですが、それでもド肝を抜かれるのが音声。そう、本作に使用されているのは、あの「Markbot」録音なのです。本稿に目を留められた方ならご存知かと思いますが、この録音は当店のプレス名盤『TAMPA 2021』でもお馴染み。単にこの日のベスト録音という次元ではなく、2021年版“NO FILTER Tour”のクオリティ基準を筆記に引き上げたマイルストーン。現在では「あのタンパにも迫る」「あのタンパも超えかねない」など、文字通りハイクオリティの基準として語られるほどの明六中の名録音なのです。
プレス盤『TAMPA 2021』を体験された方なら実感されていると思いますが、この録音最大の美点は極めてオンなダイレクト感。その凄みはライヴアルバムでも最高でしたが、これがマルチカメラ映像にもぴったり。何しろ、視点が目まぐるしく変化しますから、音の方向や距離の個性が強いと光景と音声にギャップが生まれてしまう。しかし、そもそも距離感がない超ダイレクト・サウンドであれば、どんな光景でも演奏そのものを際立たせ、まったく違和感が生じない。この辺はオフィシャルの映像作品をイメージしていただければご理解頂けるでしょう。
本作は超・極上サウンドによってシリーズ最高傑作ともなり得るクオリティに達したわけですが、ショウ内容もズバ抜けている。その意味をご説明するためにも、いつものようにセットを整理しましょう。

……と、このようになっています。何と言っても素晴らしいのは、多彩さ。この日は「19th Nervous Breakdown」が演奏されなかった唯一のライヴだったのですが、その代わりにレア曲がたっぷり。「Get Off of My Cloud」「Beast of Burden」はツアー全体でも２回しか演奏しなかった曲ですし、この日が初登場の「Sad Sad Sad」「Far Away Eyes」もその後演奏されず、結局この日が唯一無二でした。
中でも最高なのが「Sad Sad Sad」。スティーヴによるシャープなノリもカッコイイ名演なのですが、その一方で思いっきり音を外したギターソロでも話題になりました。本作は、あの迷演を映像付きで見られる。素材映像の都合か、はたまた編集者の温情かは分かりませんが、キースの手元アップにならないところも妙に心くすぐられるのです。
プレス盤『TAMPA 2021』の解説でも「音質よし、演奏よし、レアなレパートリーまで登場」とご紹介していましたが、本作はさらにプロショットばりのマルチカメラ映像まで付いてしまった。まだ全公演の映像が出揃ったわけではありませんし、更なる完成度のマルチカメラ映像が登場しないとも限らない。しかし、現時点では間違いなく最高傑作であり、本来であればプレスDVDでご提供すべき大傑作です。マルチカメラ・コレクションの１つとしては勿論、ひとつの音楽映像としても大傑作な１枚。どうぞ思う存分お楽しみください！
