This show is a kick-off of the “NO FILTER Tour 2021” that has been resumed after overcoming the new Corona Pandemic. Although there was a rehearsal private show in Foxborough a week ago, this was the first day of the regular tour. The breaking news release “ST. このショウは、新型コロナ・パンデミックを乗り越えて再開された“NO FILTER Tour 2021”のキックオフ。一週間前のフォックスボロでもリハ的なプライベート・ショウもあったものの、この日こそが通常のツアー初日でした。その模様は速報リリース盤『ST. LOUIS 2021』が大好評を賜っており、今週はさらに決定盤マスターの永久保存も決定。皆さまに広く親しまれております。本作は、その映像編。海外のコア・マニアが制作した超・極上のマルチカメラ作品なのです。
【進化した2021年基準のマルチカメラ映像】
そのクオリティは圧倒的。極上のフル・オーディエンス録音を軸としながらさまざまなオーディエンス・ショットを駆使して編まれている。こういうマルチカメラ編集作でポイントになるのは２点「アングルの多彩さ」と「編集者の技術／センス」です、まず「アングルの多彩さ」ですが、これが本当に凄い。現在はスマホで誰でも撮影できるようになって久しく、１曲単位の細切れ映像でもYoutube等で気楽に公開できる。特にこのショウは、チャーリー不在のストーンズを確かめたい心理が膨大な動画を生み出しているのです。そして、ピラミッドは裾野が広いほど頂点も高くなる。膨大なカットから選ばれたアングルはどれも超高画質で、花道脇の接写はプロショットにしか見えない超ドアップですし、遠景も会場のスケール感を一望させる超スペクタクル。間近でも遠くても感動的で、それが１曲の間に行き来するマルチカメラのダイナミズムが凄い。下手をすると、そんじょそこらのプロショットも超えかねないアングル数と絶景の連続なのです。
そして、２番目の「編集者の技術／センス」も特級。マルチカメラ・オーディエンスを作り慣れているのか、それとも映像制作を本業にしているのか分かりませんが、映像のセレクト、演奏を熟知したタイミング、組合せのダイナミズム、映像処理の細やかさ、曲名テロップなどの演出……すべてにおいて入魂の作業量が容易に想像できますし、滲み出すセンスも脱帽もの。１カット１カットは間違いなくオーディエンスでありながら、見応えは完璧にプロショット級。実際、本作はチャーリーのトリビュート・シーンから始まるわけですが、ここは正真正銘オフィシャル制作のプロショット。そこからオーディエンスに切り替わっていっても、ガッカリ感がゼロなのです。
【フルで目撃できる2021年型の“NO FILTER”】
そんな2021年新基準のマルチカメラで描かれるのは、2021年版“NO FILTER Tour”。チャーリー不在のアンサンブル等はライヴアルバムの解説でも繰り返し触れてきましたので、ここでは少々趣向を変え、最新ツアーのセット分析をしてみましょう。

……と、このようになっています。“NO FILTER”は2017年から続いてきたわけですが、これこそが2021年型。本稿執筆段階ではシャーロット公演（9/30）ピッツバーグ公演（10/4）まで進んだところですが、一応上記では2019年の全公演で演奏されたナンバーを「固定曲」とし、それ以外を「日替わり曲」としています。
スティーヴ・ジョーダンによって染め変えられた固定曲も必見ですが、やはり目を惹くのは「日替わり曲」。16年ぶりに復活した「19th Nervous Breakdown」や新レパートリー「Living In A Ghost Town」が新鮮ですし、その後の２公演では落ちている４曲「It’s Only Rock ‘n’ Roll」「Under My Thumb」「Wild Horses」「Happy」も、後々「初日だからコソのレア演奏」になっていくのかも知れません。
ビルディングの如くそそり立つ巨大スクリーンも、手を伸ばせば触れられそうな接写も、そしてミック／キース／ロンが並んでチャーリーについて語るシーンも、すべてが美しく、素晴らしい。永久保存プレス化を果たしたライヴアルバムも最高ですが、やはり「光景」の醍醐味は凄い。匠のマニアによる底知れない情熱と技術によって生み出された映像傑作。今、一番味わっていただきたい超傑作です。
