A special program including an exclusive interview of four people, which was aired within the framework of a national broadcast news program just before coming to Japan in March 1995 with “Voodoo Lounge”, and an encore at a commercial TV station in April the following year. Includes a valuable Japanese broadcast version of the “CBS Document” Stones feature that was broadcast. It is a fun project title that revives the memory of 26 years ago, and the image quality is recorded with outstanding quality. First of all, the first 4 minutes is a program that mainly airs interviews with members of Stones broadcast on March 2, and you can enjoy a short but rich video that is a must-see for enthusiasts. Immediately after that, Love Is Strong and Tumbling Dice from the Washington performance on the first day of the tour on August 1st of the previous year will be played, but in the latter, Mick suddenly misses the singing scene.

Immediately after arriving in Japan, an interview that seems to have been taken in the hotel room, a Satisfaction live in Hampton on December 18, 1981, a Love Is Strong promo, a sound check scene in Washington, and a live in I Go Wild, a dress rehearsal. Even if the appearance of the movie is cool, it will be played with a little busy editing (due to the recording time). In any case, an exclusive interview with the members’ relaxed mood is a must-see and must-have for fans. (Of course, Charlie’s interview is also included)
“As long as the Rolling Stones are there, rock’n’roll is said to move forward. In fact, the average age of the four members is already over 50, but their passion for music has diminished altogether. The female announcer’s words, “No,” are also good.

Next is the Japanese broadcast version of the CBS document featuring the live performance of New Orleans on October 10, 1994, which is familiar to maniacs, and individual interviews with five people. Although it was broadcast overseas on November 13, this take was specially aired with other artist specials as a rebroadcast in April after the performance in Japan. In this work, 20 minutes of the Stones part is recorded in super high quality. Since the program focuses on social themes rather than entertainment, it is interesting that the program focuses on the management of the band rather than the music, and it is a target for the NHK version with a really relaxed mood. The narratives of the members of the typical, somewhat serious mood are heavy and very interesting. (However, Mick, who is always professional in front of the camera, Keith at his own pace, Charlie who dislikes the camera, Ronnie who has a relaxed atmosphere, and the usual characters are clearly visible. In the program, it is especially interesting to talk about the drug problem in front of the camera, and it is quite interesting to let all the members talk about the itinerary of drugs seriously. It’s also interesting to see an interview with Michael Cole, who supported the Stones after the resurrection. For the members over 50 years old (Mick and Keith are just 51 years old, older Charlie is 53 years old), the media and even the members are themes such as “Can you lock over 50?” I’m seriously discussing this, but when I look at it from now on, I think I’m still young at all. Also, the content that is difficult to understand in English is very easy to see because it is telecomed in Japanese (It is also fun that the voice actor does not match the tone of the members at all).

The commercial broadcasters that appear in two places seem to be in the early 90’s, and everyone will be impressed with “nostalgia!” The total content is as short as 24 minutes, but the content itself is very rich and fulfilling. 「Voodoo Lounge」に伴う1995年3月の来日直前に国営放送のニュース番組の枠内でオンエアされた、4人のエクスクルーシヴ・インタビューを含む特番と、翌4月に、某民放テレビ局にてアンコール放送された「CBSドキュメント」ストーンズ特集の貴重な日本語放送版を合わせて収録。26年前の記憶が蘇る楽しい企画タイトルで、画質は抜群のクオリティで収録されています。まず、冒頭4分間は3月2日に放送されたストーンズのメンバー・インタビューをメインとした番組で、短いながらも内容の濃い、マニア必見の映像を楽しむことができます。冒頭、女性司会者から、前日3月1日に行われたグラミー賞授賞式で「Voodoo Lounge」が「最優秀ロックアルバム賞」を受賞したことレポートされます。直後には前年8月1日のツアー初日のワシントン公演のLove Is StrongとTumbling Diceが流れますが、後者ではいきなりミックが歌いだしをミスってるシーンが流れています。

続いて来日直後、ホテルルームで撮影されたと思われるインタビューと、81年12月18日のハンプトンのSatisfactionライヴ、Love Is Strongプロモ、ワシントンでのサウンドチェックシーン、そしてI Go Wildのライヴ、ドレスリハーサルの様子等がカッコよくも、（収録時間の都合で）ややせわしない編集で流れます。いずれにせよ、メンバーのリラックスしたムードの独占インタビューはファン必見・必携と言えるでしょう。（もちろんチャーリーのインタビューも収録）
「ローリング・ストーンズがいる限り、ロックンロールは前進するともロック界では言われています。実は4人のメンバーの平均年齢は既に50を超えているんですが、彼らの音楽に対する情熱は全く衰えていません。」という女性アナウンサーの言葉も良い感じです。
ミックが真顔で語る「曲のアイデアは世の中の物事を注意深く見てればわいてるんだ」と言葉に続いての、キースの「ここまで、よく来れたと思うが、まだ半分くらいしか来ていない気もする。（今、51歳だから）102歳まで頑張るか！」と笑うシーンは名場面と言って良いでしょう。
ラストは女性アナウンサーが「来週と再来週、東京で7回、その後、福岡でも行われることになっています」と締めています。

続いては、マニアにはお馴染みの、94年10月10日のニューオーリンズ公演ライヴと、5人の個別インタビューをフィーチャーしたCBSドキュメントの日本放送版。海外では11月13日に放送されていましたが、本テイクは、日本公演後の4月に再放送として、特別に他アーチスト特番と一緒にオンエアされたもの。本作ではストーンズのパートの20分を超高画質で収録しています。エンタテイメントというよりは社会派的なテーマをメインの番組ゆえ、音楽面よりも、バンドの運営面に焦点を充てての造りになっているのが面白く、実にリラックスしたムードの上記NHK版とは対象的な、幾分シリアスなムードのメンバーの語りは、いちいち重く、非常に興味深いものです。（と言っても、カメラの前ではいつでもプロフェッショナルでかまえてるミック、マイペースなキース、カメラが嫌そうなチャーリー、お気楽な雰囲気のロニーと、いつものキャラがはっきり出ています。謙虚でクールなチャーリーの「確かにスケールは大きいね、でも所詮、俺たちはアメリカ音楽をやっているイギリスの白人男なのさ」と笑いながら語るシーンは良いですね！））

番組内においては、特にドラッグ問題を正面切ってカメラの前で話させてるのが面白く、メンバー全員に対してのドラッグの遍歴をシリアスに話させているのがなかなかウマいと感じる内容です。また復活後のストーンズを支えたマイケル・コールのインタビューも入っているのも面白い。メンバーの年齢が50歳を越したことに対して（ミックもキースもちょうど51歳、年長のチャーリーは53歳）、メディアも、そしてメンバーまでもが「50を超えてロックできるのか」といったテーマを真剣に論じていますが、今から観ると「まだまだ全然若い」と思えてしまいますね。あと、英語では判り辛い内容も、日本語でアテレコしてしてるのでとても見やすいのもナイス（声優が、メンバーの口調と全然あってないのも一興です。）あと、

2箇所登場する民放コマーシャルが90年代前半らしく、皆さん「懐かしい！」と感激してしまうことでしょう。全体24分と言う短い内容ですが、コンテンツそのものは非常に濃く、充実した一枚になっています。1995年春を思い起こさせるストーンズ・ファンにとって懐かしく楽しい２番組を、マニア驚愕の超高画質で収録した１枚。お楽しみ下さい！
