This is the release of the same tour following the Altamont performance from the 1969 tour, which celebrated the 40th anniversary of the performance last year. Disc 1 contains the November 11th Phoenix Coliseum, Arizona performance from the Low Generation Master. It is a sound source that has hardly been covered since the discontinuation of “Gathering Madness” (VGP), and it will be a timely release for those who have not obtained it. The recording position is very close to the PA, and there are some boomy parts, but I did not dare to mess with the sound quality balance of the original tape, and it is a sound creation that makes the most of the low hiss noise unique to Rogene.

Disc 2 contains all songs from the stereo audience sound source, which was rare at that time, for the performance at Olympia Stadium in Detroit on November 24, which also has few CD works. It is a documentary of a memorable performance that started the second half of the tour, which is unexpectedly clear and easy to listen to, although it feels a little distance.

Since the last 3 songs were not originally recorded in the Phoenix performance of Disc 1, 3 tracks of intro, JJF, and Carol will appear in the margin from the Altamont performance on December 6th. From Source B, THE SUN IS SHINING will also be released for the first time. It is additionally recorded from the appearance sound board source.

昨年、公演から40周年を迎えた69年ツアーより、オルタモント公演に続いて同ツアーもののリリースです。 ディスク１に11月11日のアリゾナ州フェニックス・コロシアム公演をロージェネレーションマスターより収録。 「Gathering Madness」(VGP)の廃盤以降ほとんどカバーされることのなかった音源で、未入手だった方にはタイムリーなリリースでしょう。 収録位置がＰＡに大変近く、ややブーミーな箇所もありますが、あえてオリジナルのテープの音質バランスをいじることはせず、ロージェネならではのヒスノイズの少なさを最大限に活かした音作りとなっています。

ディスク２には、これもＣＤ化作品の少ない11月24日デトロイト、オリンピアスタジアムでの公演を、この当時は珍しいステレオオーディエンス音源より全曲収録。 やや距離を感じるものの予想外にクリアーで聴きやすいツアー後半戦のスタートとなった記念すべき公演のドキュメンタリーとなっています。

ディスク１のフェニックス公演はラスト3曲が元々未収録のため、余白部分に12月6日オルタモント公演より、イントロ、JJF、キャロルの3トラックを初登場ソースＢより、 THE SUN IS SHININGをこれまた初登場サウンドボードソースより追加収録しています。
