The best sound quality board “SPOKANE 2022” from Bob Dylan’s latest tour last week just released the fastest from the UX BRIDGE label, but the next day, the live performance of Keniwick, Washington will appear in an ultra-quality audience recording!

演奏のディティールがまた緻密に捉えられており、随所でハッスルしたディランの鍵盤さばき、さらに「Crossing The Rubicon」のようなスローナンバーではバンマス、トニー・ガーニエが奏でるウッドベースの音も明瞭に捉えてくれていて、聞いていて思わずうっとりさせられるかと。
あまりにも音質が良いので、前日のスポーケンから続いてディランが絶好調なのも手に取るように分かってしまう。オープニング「Watching The River Flow」からして彼はエンジン全開。そのハイテンションな歌いっぷりにテーパー近くの観客が思わず叫び声をあげるのですが、そこで「あ、これオーディエンス録音だ」と実感させてもらえるのだから皮肉なもの。
とにかくディランはこの日、相当にゴキゲンな様子で、「When I Paint My Masterpiece」の前後では楽しそうに笑っているのもしっかり聞き取れてしまう。こんなところからも本音源の驚異的な録音クオリティを実感してもらえると同時に、彼が今なおステージを心から楽しんでいる事に感動させられることしきり。
