Robert Plant & Alison Krauss, who started energetic live performances from April this year. The audience album that captures the latest stage with perfect sound quality will be released the fastest.
Anyway, the sound quality is amazing. The sound image is almost vulgar, and at first glance, is it the latest live broadcast? The more you get confused.
Not to mention the performance of the band, above all, the two singing voices are close. This is a high-quality recording that is no wonder even if it was released on a press CD, and we guarantee that it is a level that can be enjoyed from beginners to enthusiasts with peace of mind.
As was the case last year, this year’s duo actively participated in festivals held in various places. The sound source released this time is also from when I appeared at a country event held in Telluride, Colorado.
Perhaps the duo’s stage was unique in such an event, and even during the live, the audience who were looking for country music continued to talk quite a bit. Especially in the middle of the live it is remarkable.
However, the pressure of the sound image that captures the performance that lightly blows it away is strong, and I was surprised at the recording condition that turned it into a good presence.
As a duo, they are used to performing at festivals, and last year they completed their first full-fledged tour after COVID-19. As expected.
Furthermore, on this year’s tour, “In The Mood” revived in the repertoire from the plant’s song. It was not played at the beginning of the tour, but it was added to the set list from May.
Like the conventional live version, the performance that reborn the original 80s arrangement into an organic melody that Klaus’s violin shines is still alive and well.
Of course, the ZEP classic “Rock And Roll” is still alive, but “When the Levee Breaks” from “The Battle of Evermore”, which is the climax, is a masterpiece. The audience, who had been chatting up until then, were attracted to country music, and once the live was over, they booed (!).
Of course, I am responding to the encore, but I am overwhelmed by the duo’s battle-hardened performance that captures the hearts of audiences of different genres.
It is the latest recording that captures such a superb stage with perfect sound quality, and the sound quality is too good anyway.
It is no exaggeration to say that one piece that represents this year’s plant will appear as soon as it becomes like this. Please enjoy the adult sound stage that the duo weaves. This is the 2023 audience recording!
今年も4月から精力的なライブ活動を始めたロバート・プラント＆アリソン・クラウス。その最新のステージを完璧な音質で捉えたオーディエンス・アルバムが最速リリースされます。
とにかく音質が凄い。もうえげつないまでに近い音像、パッと聞いた感じでは最新のライブ配信か？と錯覚しそうになってしまうほど。
バンドの演奏はもちろん、何より二人の歌声が近い近い。これこそプレスCDでリリースされたとしても何ら不思議のないハイクオリティな録音であり、初心者からマニアまで安心して楽しめるレベルであることを保証いたします。
昨年もそうだったように、今年のデュオも各地で行われるフェスに積極的に参加。今回リリースされる音源もコロラドのテルユライドで行われたカントリーのイベントに出演した時のもの。
こうしたイベントの中にあってデュオのステージは異色に映ったのでしょうか、ライブの最中もカントリー目当てのお客さんたちは結構お喋りが続いています。特にライブ中盤はそれが顕著。
ところが、それを軽く吹き飛ばしてしまうような演奏を捉えた音像の圧が強く、むしろイイ感じの臨場感にまで好転させた録音状態にも驚き。
デュオにしてみればフェス出演も手慣れたものですし、さらには昨年コロナ後初めての本格的なツアーを成し遂げただけあって、こうした状況でも余裕と自信に満ち溢れたパフォーマンスを披露してくれるのが流石。
さらに今年のツアーではプラントの持ち歌から「In The Mood」がレパートリーに復活。ツアー開始当初は演奏されていなかったのですが、5月からセットリストに加えられたのでした。
従来のライブバージョンと同じようにオリジナルのエイティーズなアレンジをクラウスのバイオリンが映えるオーガニックな曲調へと生まれ変わらせた演奏は今も健在。
もちろんZEPクラシックの「Rock And Roll」も健在ですが、それ以上にクライマックスとなる「The Battle of Evermore」から「When the Levee Breaks」が圧巻。それまでお喋りを続けていたカントリー目当ての観客を釘付けにしてしまい、ここで一旦ライブが終わったことでブーイング（！）が起きる始末。
もちろんアンコールに応える訳ですが、こうしてジャンルが異なる観客の心も鷲掴みにしてみせるデュオの百戦錬磨なパフォーマンスに圧倒される思いです。
そんな極上のステージを完璧な音質で捉えてくれた最新録音であり、とにかく音質が良すぎ。
こうなると早くも今年のプラントを代表する一枚が登場と言っても過言ではありません。デュオが織りなす大人なサウンドのステージをじっくりとお楽しみください。これが2023年のオーディエンス録音だ！
