Pink Floyd’s concept album “The Wall” released in November 1979.
The concept of this album goes back to the end of the North American tour in “In The Flesh Tour”, which was also a promotion of the previous work “Animals”.

The North American tour begins on April 22, 1977 at the Miami Baseball Stadium in Miami, Florida, and ends with the first leg on May 12, at the Memorial Coliseum in Portland, Florida, with a month in between. It was divided into two legs from the country stadium performance in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on June 15th to the Stade de Parc Olympic performance in Canada on July 6th, with the break of the stadium class. At this time, Roger Waters presented a rough demo sound source of “The Wall” and “The Pros And Cons Of Hitchhiking” created during the period. However, the band finally selected “The Wall”.

This CD is “Another Wall / Another Wall of Freudian (EVSD-1418 / 1419)” released from the Empress Valley Supreme Disc (Disk) label, and is a demo and outtake by Pink Floyd fans in the UK. In addition, it is a recording of the “another wall” sound source, which was originally produced using the official sound source and spent several months.

「 In The Flesh Tour 」 終了後，バンドとしての活動を休止．休止中に デヴィッド・ギルモア（David Gilmour）は，1st ソロ・アルバム 『 David Gilmour （デヴィッド・ギルモア） 』（1978年5月リリース）を，また リチャード・ライト（Richard Wright）も 1st ソロ・アルバム 『 Wet Dream （ウェット・ドリーム） 』（1978年9月リリース）のレコ―ディングを，ニック・メイソン（Nick Mason）も，1981年5月リリースの 1st ソロ・アルバム 『 Nick Mason’s Fictitious Sports （空想感覚） 』 の製作に向けた準備を行い，そして ロジャー・ウォーターズ（Roger Waters）は，次作に向けた創作（作詞・作曲）に時間を費やしました．
