これで東京公演すべての映像が揃った訳ですが、どの映像にも一貫していたこと、それはワンカメラでの撮影ながらも非常に見やすく、ライブ全編を飽きることなく見通せる映像クオリティであったことが挙げられます。「TOKYO 2018: DEFINITIVE～」で登場した東京ドーム二日目は不完全収録ではあったもののツボを押さえた選曲の撮影、それでもなおかつライブだけで100分を捉えていたことから十分に見応えのある映像として、他の二日間と遜色のない高評価をマニアから受けることが出来たのは、嬉しい予想外なリアクションでもあったのです。
ところが、それ以上に予想外なリアクションが起きたのです。それはドーム初日と国技館の音声アッパー版を「TOKYO 2018: DEFINITIVE～」でリリースしてみせた結果、もうここまで来たら、いっそのことプレス盤DVDで出してもらえないか？ということでした。いくらアングルの優れた映像とは言えオーディエンスショットです、そこはDVD-Rだろう…そんな気持ちを反映したのがUXBRIDGEレーベルによる、ここ数週のリリースだった訳ですが、やはり先のタイトルで音声アッパー版を製作した反響があまりに大きかった。こうなるとプレス盤への昇格リリースを実行させるしかありません。
日本中のマニアが待ち望んだプレス盤バージョンにリリースに当たり、東京ドーム公演と両国に分けたパッケージでのリリースとなります。もちろん、それぞれの公演が単にプレス盤に収められるだけでは芸がない。まず東京ドーム初日ですが、デュアルレイヤーを採用することによってこれまでリリースされた二種類の音声をどちらも収録、おまけにそれらを再生しながら選択できるという便利な仕上がり。こうして聞き比べてみると、ヘッドフォンなどで聞けば「TOKYO 2018: DEFINITIVE～」で差し替えられた音声のクリアネスの鮮度が圧勝。
しかし初回リリース・アイテムだった「TOKYO DOME 2018 1ST NIGHT: DEFINITIVE VIDEO MASTER」の音声も骨太な迫力はスピーカーから鳴らすと悪くない。その聞き比べが簡単に楽しめてしまうのです。

一方で東京ドーム二日目の映像は不完全収録がネックであるのは事実。さすがにこちらは音声選択方式ではないのですが、それでも今回のリリースに当たって撮影者が同時に収録していたオーディエンス録音へと差し替えたアッパー版となっています。こちらのカメラ音声は前日以上に優れた音質でしたが、それをも上回るクリアネスやステレオのワイド感は素晴らしい。ここは是非ともボリュームをアップして楽しんでいただきたいところ。もちろん今回も開演前のスクリーンに写された映像が30分に渡って収録されていますし、「Got To Get You Into My Life」を始めとしたこの日の名場面の数々はバッチリ。遂に限定のプレス盤DVDでのリリースが実現します。東京ドーム初日で音声の切り替えを楽しんでもらうだけでなく、すでに定評のある臨場感と見応えたっぷりな映像で、あの一か月前の興奮を蘇らせてください！
