What! An expansion of LONDON TOWN, which is now out of print! !! It’s a very popular series, so it would be interesting to collect all of them. This LONDON TOWN is a Wings album released on March 31, 1978, which began recording at Abbey Road Studios in London in February 1977, and from May it will be recorded offshore on a ship floating in the Virgin Islands. However, after returning to England, Jimmy McCulloch and Joe English left Wings, so some songs such as “Girlfriend” and “Deliver Your Chirdren” were completed by Paul, Linda McCartney, and Denny Laine. .. So it’s understandable that the album jacket only shows Paul, Linda, and Denny. Due to the influence of Denny, who has a deep interest in traditional music, there are many traditional songs, and Denny is in charge of lead vocals for “Children Children” and “Deliver Your Chirdren”. That’s why it’s LONDON TOWN, which has the most works with Denny Laine in the Wings album. なんと！今や廃盤のLONDON TOWNの拡張盤！！大人気シリーズなので全部集めるのも面白いでしょう。このLONDON TOWNは、1978年3月31日にリリースされたウイングスのアルバムで1977年2月にロンドンのアビー・ロード・スタジオでレコーディングを開始し、5月からはヴァージン諸島に浮かぶ船で洋上レコーディングが行われたが、帰英後ジミー・マカロックとジョー・イングリッシュがウイングスから脱退したため、”Girlfriend”や”Deliver Your Chirdren”など何曲かはポールとリンダ・マッカートニー、デニー・レインの3人によって完成した。なのでアルバムジャケットはポール、リンダ、デニーの3人だけが写っているのも納得できる。伝統音楽に関心が深いデニーの影響もあり、トラッド調の楽曲が多く”Children Children”と”Deliver Your Chirdren”はデニーがリードヴォーカルを担当している。というわけでウィングスのアルバムの中では、最もデニー・レインとの作品が多いというLONDON TOWNなのであります。本編に加え、デモ音源、プロモエディット・バージョン、インストバージョンなどのLONDON TOWNに関するレアトラックを集めきった最高の2枚組！もちろん全トラック、超高音質サウンドボードで文句無しです！
