It is a reissue version of a valuable title, a handmade label for collectors by collectors, which was distributed only in a small part. Nowadays, copies are available soon, but this item is a regular reissue board that officially took over the master. Reissue label emblem and new back jacket are available at a reasonable price.

It is a live sound source by Frank Zappa and the popular Terry Bozzio Mothers when he was enrolled. Although it is a Zappa band that tends to be a big family, this is a relatively narrowed member composition. The only wind instrument is Napoleon Murphy’s saxophone. Rock performances are performed on Terry Bozzio’s many drumming. Napoleon Murphy, who became the only wind instrument, was greatly featured in the album title song “Chunga’s Revenge” and made an outstanding performance. The solo will be taken over by each part and it will be a great performance of over 16 minutes. The performance that Zappa’s former Bashibashi develops is a masterpiece, and “Muffin Man”, which also serves as a member introduction at each bird at this time, is also the best. Since the 80’s, Zappa’s guitars have a clean tone through the Synclavier, but nowadays you can enjoy the distorted SG sound. Although it is an audience recording, the sound quality is so high that it surpasses the sound board. The cheers of the audience are also nice, and the zappa is whispered and has a good taste. Highly recommended board.

フランク・ザッパと人気の高いテリー・ボジオ在籍時マザーズによるライヴ音源です。大所帯になりがちなザッパ・バンドですがここは比較的絞ったメンバー構成。管楽器はナポレオン・マーフィーのサックスのみ。テリー・ボジオの手数多いドラミングの上でロックな演奏が繰り広げられます。唯一の管楽器となったナポレオン・マーフィーはアルバム・タイトル曲の『チャンガの復讐』で大きくフィーチュアされ大活躍。そのご各パートにソロが引き継がれ16分を超える大熱演となります。毎度のことながらザッパによる統率の元バシバシ展開していく演奏は圧巻で、この時期毎度のトリでメンバー紹介を兼ねる『マフィン・マン』も最高。80年代以降はザッパのギターはシンクラヴィアを通したクリーンなトーンになりますが、この頃は歪んだSGのサウンドが楽しめます。オーディエンス録音ですがサウンドボードも凌駕するほどの高音質。オーディエンスの歓声もいい感じにザッパを囃し立て良い味わい。大推薦盤。
