今では考えられないだろうが、当時はビートルズの楽曲を再演するという点に最も話題が集中したように記憶している。それまでもウイングスのステージでビートルズの曲を演奏してきたが、それまで演奏されなかった「Good Day Sunshine」、「For No One」や「Here There And Everywhere」などがそれに相当する。また映画中で使用された自分の曲のセルフ・カバーも多数含まれている。「Silly Love Songs」は途中にベース・ソロを挿入したり、「Ballroom Dancing」もかなり長い演奏に変化しているなど、アレンジはほぼ同じながらオリジナリティを加えたものとなっている。また映画のために新曲も書きおろされ、特にテーマ曲「No More Lonely Night」は現在でもステージで演奏して欲しい名曲である。このように、ビートルズ時代の楽曲、セルフカバー曲、新曲、そして映画の各シーンで使用されるBGMもポールの曲という、ファンにとってはたまらない映画、アルバムとなっている。

本作はこの『ブロードストリート』のセッション音源、別ミックス音源、別バージョン音源（時代のせいか別バージョンが多い）、そして当時リアルタイムで放送されたポール自身が解説するというラジオ・ショー音源など、関連音源を網羅した内容となっている。美しいピクチャー・ディスク仕様の永久保存がっちりプレス盤。
