The latest in the popular Ultimate Archive series! “The Family Way” Contains stereo and mono mixes taken from the best sources available. The stereo mix uses the lossless download version that was released a few years ago, and sounds much better than the 2003 CD version featuring the LP’s feeble rendition! The mono mix is the original mono press LP, so it sounds great, so it’s recorded from there. In addition, 45 single versions of “Love In The Open Air” and “Theme From The Family Way” are also recorded with great quality. In addition, three songs from the 1995 cover by Karl Aubt were recorded. Finally, it contains all three songs from ‘The Family Way Theme (Samba / Waltz / Rondeau)’ performed by La Flute Enchantee in 1999 (included on the 2003 CD). Various versions of FAMILY WAY have been released so far, but it can be said that this title is the final decision board! Cospa is also number 1!

28 – Theme From The Family Way – 14 mono mixes. To coincide with the UK premiere of the film, Decca Records released a monaural single (Decca F-12536) on 23 December 1966. ‘Love In The Open Air’/’Theme from The Family Way’ by Tudor Minstrels. The group is named after the production company Tudor Films of director Roy Boulting’s twin brother John Boulting. The A-side is simply the 6th track of the album, while the B-side is a composite of the 1st and 13th tracks. In the United States, a single (London 45-1012) was released on January 24, 1967.
29-30 – Both sides of the single (United Artists UP 1165) by George Martin And His Orchestra, UK release 21st December 1966 These are different arrangements of both songs from the Decca single, specifically Abbey on 15th December 1966 Rush recorded at EMI Recording Studios in Road.
31-32 – Recorded on both sides of George Martin and His Orchestra’s single (United Artists UA 50148) released on April 24, 1967 in the United States. These are new recordings. The B side is composed by Martin, unrelated to the movie, and the A side is a high-speed arrangement. Recorded over three days at E.M.I. in early February 1967.
33-35 – On December 5, 1995, the album was released on CD for the first time in Canada and the United States. The Family Way – Variations Concertantes Opus 1 (Or W. Woolf – ORWCD-28) adds several variations to the 22-minute soundtrack by Quebec classical guitarist Carl Orbut. Paul McCartney has approved this release. A CD was released in Europe on June 20, 1996.
36-38 – May 9, 2000 Sir Paul McCartney’s Liverpool (ACD22137 ATMA Classique) was released. The album contains four recordings of McCartney’s compositions written for flute quartet. These performances by La Flute Enchanté were recorded August 20-22, 1997 at Eglise Saint-Augustin de Mirabel, Quebec.

28 – Theme From The Family Way – 14のモノラルミックス。この映画のイギリスでの初公開に合わせ、デッカ・レコードから1966年12月23日にモノラル・シングルが発売された（デッカF-12536)。チューダー・ミンストレルズの「Love In The Open Air」/「Theme from The Family Way」です。グループ名は、映画監督ロイ・ボールティングの双子の弟ジョン・ボールティングの制作会社チューダー・フィルムにちなんでいる。A面は単純にアルバムの6曲目だが、B面は1曲目と13曲目を合成したものである。アメリカでは1967年1月24日にシングル（London 45-1012）が発売される。
29-30 – George Martin And His Orchestraによるシングル（United Artists UP 1165）の両面、1966年12月21日イギリス発売 これらはデッカのシングルの両曲の異なるアレンジで、特に1966年12月15日にアビーロードのEMIレコーディングスタジオでラッシュ録音されたものです。
31-32 – 1967年4月24日にアメリカで発売されたジョージ・マーティン・アンド・ヒズ・オーケストラのシングル(United Artists UA 50148)の両面に収録されています。これらは新録音。B面は映画とは無関係のマーティン作曲で、A面は高速アレンジ。1967年2月上旬にE.M.I.で3日間にわたって録音された。
