OZZY OSBOURNE BAND in the era of Carmine Appice, who was called “the strongest of all time” by maniacs but could not leave an official work. A masterpiece live album that serves as the “official substitute” is now available.
[The strongest carmine era that ended in illusion] “December 6, 1983 Stockholm performance” is engraved on this work. It is the super-superb audience recording. A famous drummer in rock history: Carmine Appice teamed up with Ozzy in the early days of the “BARK AT THE MOON Tour”. We have already introduced many masterpieces of the “Carmine era” in our shop, but this work is a decision board that symbolizes the “Carmine era” on behalf of the official. This is the full picture of the activities related to “Howling at the Moon” since Jake joined. The album was produced with Tommy Aldrich, but the tour started after being replaced by Carmine. I returned to Tommy after completing the early “European #2” and “North American #2”. Our shop introduces the press masterpiece “BETHLEHEM 1984 (Zodiac 434)” as a masterpiece of “North America # 2”, but this work is the top live album of “Europe # 2”.
[Official work-class masterpiece] The sound of this work is unquestionably “the masterpiece of the Carmine era”. So far, we have introduced eight live albums from the Carmine era in our shop, but this work is definitely No.1. It is also a high-quality sound that is several steps down. From the BGM “Carmina Burana” that plays and flows out, you may think “Eh? Sound board?” ’ is also completely sound board class … or should I say, official work class. It can be judged that it is not a sound board from the fact that the 3rd song “Rock ‘n’ Roll Rebel” makes me nervous (it is only about 5 seconds), but it is also “audience recording … what is it, maybe?” It’s so line-like that I lose confidence. The true identity of this work is the legendary LP bootleg “CRY WOLF (LSSW-198-312 0456)”. It is a masterpiece whose existence has been known for a long time, but it is a rare board that has hardly been seen in recent years, probably due to the small number of presses, and it has hardly been seen since the CD era. This work is the latest transfer version. Whether the board used was mint quality or not, there is no needle patch, and it is shiny and glossy. It is a master who has become a hot topic as “the best transfer ever” by maniacs. Moreover, this work further brushes up the best master with its own mastering. By analyzing the band and adjusting the balance, the thickness of the deep bass and the clarity of the treble are improved. Achieves the highest peak updated sound that is clearer and more vivid. Speaking of the Carmine era, the professional shot “ROCK POP 1983” is a classic, but it is better than that official soundboard sound. [The strongest ensemble where all five are melodious] Such an “official-class sound” depicts a full show with master Carmine’s drumming. Let’s organize the set while comparing it with “ROCK POP 1983” here.
● Classics
・ Paranoid: Iron Man / Paranoid
・Blizzard of Oz: I Don’t Know/Mr. Crowley/Revelation (Mother Earth) (★)/Steal Away The Night (★)/Suicide Solution (★)/Crazy Train (★)
・Diary of a Madman: Flying High Again(★)
Barking at the moon
・Rock ‘n’ Roll Rebel(★)/Bark At The Moon/Center Of Eternity
* Note: “★” marks are songs that cannot be heard even in the classic pro shot “ROCK POP 1983”.
… and it looks like this. The set itself is familiar, but the roaring virtuosity of Carmine is amazing, too amazing! Anyway, it’s full of poetry, and the fills that aren’t in the original jump out one after another, making it really colorful. Sometimes he puts a hand in the vocal melody, sometimes guides the guitar, and sometimes intertwines with the keyboard to raise the dramatism of the song. All songs are amazing, but for example, “Revelation (Mother Earth)” where vocals and drums interact. When Ozzy sings a line, Carmine responds with a completely different fill … no, a drum melody, like a duet. Moreover, the phrase changes more and more for each section. It does not matter which one, so I would like you to compare it with the live album that Tommy Aldrich hits. Tommy is also a drumming far from mediocre, but Carmine is a different actor. too different. What kind of thing is “drum expressiveness”? It is a shocking take that teaches it in a nutshell.
“Of course, it’s not just Carmine.” If he is a drummer with a song heart, his partner is Bob Daisley, who is synonymous with a song heart base, and the keyboard is Don Airey, a master of dramatic production. Normally, it is a power relationship of “Ozzy & Jake = leading role / remaining 3 people = back”, but this work is a ridiculous super band state where all 5 people shine. Moreover, this work is super clear and ultra vivid to the subtleties of its subtleties. Even the robot voice effect applied to Ozzy’s vocal is clear and clear.
The “Carmine Era”, when no official works were made and no full soundboard was left. It is a miraculous live album where you can enjoy the full show with official-class super-superb sound. “Why is the Carmine era the strongest?” …… It is the birth of a new masterpiece that tells the reason more eloquently than a thousand words. It’s not just a live album with good sound, it’s not just a rare recording. An exceptional piece that is outstanding even in all of Ozzy’s solo careers. Please fully enjoy the permanent preservation press CD.
(remastered memo)
★Although it was originally high-quality sound, I added bass and treble to make it even clearer.
(Instead of reducing the distortedness, it is an image that pushes out the powerful and flashy performance sound.)
★ Superb audience recording of “December 6, 1983 Stockholm performance”. The latest transferred sound from the legendary LP boot “CRY WOLF” is a complete sound board class … or should I say, an official work class. Carmine’s singing fill is wonderful, and in “Revelation (Mother Earth)” Ozzy’s vocals and drums interact like a duet. In addition, Jake E. Lee, Bob Daisley, Don Airey and everyone can enjoy the strongest lineup of star players.
