Nile Rodgers & CHIC, who have been active in live activities year by year since resuming their activities from the new corona pandemic. A video blockbuster that allows you to fully enjoy the latest stage is now available.
This work was filmed at the “Montreux Jazz Festival Performance on July 15, 2023”. It is the multi-camera pro shot. The first report on the resumption of activities at our store was the professional shot “TRNSMT 2022 (Uxbridge 1712)”. In the sense of knowing their recent situation, let’s first review the activity summary from last year.

This is the schedule for 2022/2023 that has been announced so far. Last year and this year, they toured European summer festivals, and the Montreux performance of this work is the 11th performance of “Europe #2”. It was also one year after last year’s “TRNSMT 2022”.
When it comes to the “Montreux Jazz Festival”, it’s a traditional, super-famous music festival that all music fans know about. The relay pro shot has produced super-superb images of many artists, and this work is also the latest Nile Rodgers version. In fact, the quality of the delivery professional shot converted to DVD from the best master is perfect, and the image quality, sound quality, camera work, stage production … no matter where you take it, there is no expression other than “completely official grade”.
The previous work “TRNSMT 2022” was also of official quality, so I thought it would be a similar work… but in reality, this work is much more fulfilling. The key is the volume of songs that has been greatly increased. It is a full set of 95 minutes, which is more than 1.5 times longer than “TRNSMT 2022” which was about 1 hour, probably because of the difference in the appearance frame. Finally, let’s organize the gorgeous hit parade while comparing it with “TRNSMT 2022”.

Their stage is a style that generously presents various famous songs that Nile Rodgers has been involved in, and it is also a hit song collection of the music scene itself rather than one artist. In other words, the increase in playing time is directly linked to the luxury of hit songs. In fact, this work covers all the songs played in “TRNSMT 2022”, and a lot of further hit songs are added.
The latest stage of Nile Rodgers & CHIC, which has become even more gorgeous, including DAFT PUNK and Beyoncé’s hit songs. 新型コロナ・パンデミックからの活動再開以降、年々ライヴ活動を活発化させているナイル・ロジャース＆CHIC。その最新ステージをタップリ楽しめる映像大作が登場です。
そんな本作が撮影されたのは「2023年７月15日モントルー・ジャズ・フェスティバル公演」。そのマルチカメラ・プロショットです。当店で活動再開のレポート第一弾となったのもプロショット『TRNSMT 2022（Uxbridge 1712）』でした。彼らの近況を知る意味でも、まずは昨年からの活動概要をおさらいしておきましょう。

これが現在までに公表されている2022年／2023年のスケジュール。昨年も今年もヨーロッパの夏フェスを巡っており、本作のモントルー公演は「欧州#2」の11公演目。昨年の『TRNSMT 2022』から１年後でもありました。
“モントルー・ジャズ・フェスティバル”と言えば、音楽ファンで知らぬ者はいない伝統の超有名音楽祭。その中継プロショットは数々のアーティストの超極上映像を生み出して来たわけで、本作はその最新ナイル・ロジャース版でもある。実際、配信プロショットをベスト・マスターからDVD化したクオリティは完全無欠で、画質・音質・カメラワーク・ステージ演出……どこを取っても「完全オフィシャル級」以外の表現が見当たりません。
