Michael Schenker is coming to Japan for the first time in four years as part of his 50th anniversary tour. Expectations for the long-awaited performance in Japan are burning in front of us, and three superb live albums will be released at the same time!
This work is the first of such a three-part series. It is a superb audience recording of “October 19, 2022 Fall River Performance”. This visit to Japan is also the first MSG name in 12 years since 2010, but the former RAINBOW’s Ronnie Romero will serve as the front. However, Robin McAuley sometimes took his place at some shows. I have introduced the circumstances of that area one by one, but now is a special timing before coming to Japan. There may be some people who don’t usually check it out, so let’s look back on the recent situation here.

This is the schedule for 2021/2022, when Romero will be fronting. Robin is just a pinch hitter, and I think you can understand that the current main singer is Romero. The last performance location announced so far is Japan, and the previous “North America” ​​leg has just ended. I’m cultivating my sharpness in about two weeks off. And the three works released at the same time this week are all live albums of the “North American” leg. In particular, the Fall River performance of this work was a concert that was the 17th performance out of 31 performances.
This work, which is a vacuum-packed version of such a show, is truly a superb recording. It is also with “super”. If the core is very thick, the details are fine and the distance is zero. The splendor of this work cannot be conveyed even by arranging fixed phrases. Rather than that, it is easier to understand if you say “official class”. There is no doubt that it is an audience recording only for the master released by the person who recorded it, but even if you listen to the sound, there is no feeling of airiness or air, and there is no evidence of a customer record. “Even though it’s just that sound, there’s a reason for it.” In fact, this work is the work of a master who is famous as a modern master. The taper is “Farve4”. A recording artist who has released classic rock masterpieces one after another in recent years. Jeff Beck & Johnny Depp’s “BOSTON 2022 (Uxbridge 1759)” is very popular. If you have experienced even one of these, I think you will come to a pin, but this work is top class among the master collection.
A full show that predicts the upcoming performance in Japan is drawn with such an ultra-direct sound. Speaking of Romero’s front MSG, June’s professional shot “GRASPOP METAL MEETING 2022 (Shades 1551)” is famous, but that is a short set for festivals. The number of songs in this work is also increasing, so let’s organize it while comparing.

With his husky heroic voice and tremendous singing ability, Ronnie Romero became the greatest hard rock singer of his time. It is the latest live album full of famous songs built up with his singing voice. Not only as a preparation board for the impending performance in Japan, but also as a review board to indulge in the afterglow after finishing. A modern masterpiece recorded by a modern master leaning against his arm. Please enjoy it to the fullest.
