Introducing the tape “Mike Millard Tape” recorded by Mike Millard, a taper familiar to fans with the outstanding technology of audience recording. Several sound sources based on Mike Millard tape have been released from the same label, but if you look closely, there are two types, “Brushed Mike Millard Tape” and “Legendary Mike Millard Tape”. Did you notice that there is? Not all Mike Millard tapes have perfect sound quality, and some of them have room for improvement, and the “Brushed” series has been significantly improved. Originally, it is almost perfect and there is not much room for improvement, and the “Legendary” series is the one that has been kept to a minimum such as light editing between songs.
Introducing this time is Led Zeppelin from the “Legendary” series. The 1977 concert is so famous for its June 21st LA Forum performance, which was released as Jimmy Page’s own acclaimed performance “Listen to This Eddie”. This sound source is only two days before that. However, it is known as “the performance is not good”. It is a well-established theory that Bonzo was in a bad condition. Please check this item for the performance. It has been edited so that it fits in two pieces by cutting the space between the two songs. Of course, the song is a complete uncut recording.

オーディエンス録音の卓越した技術でファンにはお馴染みのテーパー、マイク・ミラード氏により録音されたテープ『マイク・ミラード・テープ』登場です。同レーベルからマイク・ミラード・テープをマスターにした音源が複数リリースされておりますが、よく見ると『ブラッシュド・マイク・ミラード・テープ』と『レジェンダリー・マイク・ミラード・テープ』の二種類があることにお気付きでしょうか。マイク・ミラード・テープも全てが完璧な音質なわけではなく、中にはかなり手を加えて改良の余地があるものもあり、大幅に手を加えて改良されたものが『ブラッシュド』シリーズ。元々完璧に近く改良の余地があまり無く、曲間等の軽い編集など最低限にとどめてあるものが『レジェンダリー』シリーズとなります。
今回登場は“レジェンダリー”・シリーズからレッド・ツェッペリンです。1977年のコンサートはジミー・ペイジ自身も認める名演『リッスン・トゥ・ディス・エディ』としてリリースされている6月21日のLAフォーラム公演があまりに有名。この音源はそのわずか二日前のものです。が、なんと「演奏が良くない」として知られています。ボンゾが絶不調だったというのが定説。その演奏のデキは是非このアイテムにてご確認ください。二箇所曲間をカットし二枚に収まるよう編集してあります。もちろん曲はノーカット完全収録です。
