The first day of the North American tour in 1975, a noteworthy board that also includes valuable performance takes “When The Levee Breaks” and “The Wanton Song”!

In recent years, this 1975 Bloomington performance became a hot topic due to the sudden appearance of a fragment of the sound board, but this time the audience recording of the performance first appeared. This time too, it is due to the group “DoD” that was already familiar in Atlanta ’69 and Winterland’s November 7, 1969, and not all songs are recorded (In My Time Of Dying, Whole Lotta Love, Black Dog Unpaid), but a monaural sound that can be said to be good enough. Is it this time with an awareness of the sound board sound source that appeared earlier and became a hot topic? Considering that the sound board sound source was very fragmented, this Aud sound source with a total of nearly 104 minutes can be said to be very valuable.

When making a CD, the fine gap noise at the transition of each track that was in the original data was removed, the pitch was corrected, the overall band adjustment (EQ in the direction of improving sound omission), etc. were made slightly, and the distortion noise drifting throughout. It is also pinpoint, and it has been removed in places within the range that does not affect the musical sound, and the whole is carefully mastered like this label.

The bonus includes a fragment of the sound board that appeared before the Aud sound source and became a hot topic.
As it is described as Soundboard Fragments this time, it is very fragmentary, and it is very short, about 4 and a half minutes in total with 4 tracks.
Looking back at the flow of sound board sound source appearance, two songs, “The Song Remains The Same” and “The Wanton Song”, first appeared, and these are the bonus recordings this time. Most of these two songs were MC parts before the performance, and the performance was only a touch, and “TSRTS” was cut about 5 seconds after the start of the performance. After that, CD titles containing “TSRTS”, “Rain Song”, “Kashmir”, and “The Wanton Song” appeared. In that CD title, the performance part of “TSRTS” was recorded for the first time, but the MC part before the performance that was recorded in the previously released take is not recorded. Therefore, the bonus track of this board is also valuable as it is. Then, after the CD title appeared, two fragments of “When The Levee Breaks” and “Black Dog” appeared (also included as a bonus on this edition). Although these two tracks are still fragments, they have not been recorded in the previous CD title, and the audience recording of “Black Dog” has not been recorded, so it is recorded in the final part of less than 1 minute, but after the live performance It must be a very important fragment material, including the MC of. In this board, the phase shift that was originally to the right has been completely eliminated.

’75年北米ツアーより、1月18日ミネソタ州・ブルーミントン公演がモノラルAud音源で登場！
75年の北米ツアー初日であり、貴重な演奏テイク「When The Levee Breaks」、「The Wanton Song」も収録した注目盤！

近年、サウンドボードの断片が突如登場したことで大いに話題になったこの’75年ブルーミントン公演ですが、今回は同公演のオーディエンス録音が初登場。今回もアトランタ’69や、ウインターランド’69年11月7日などで既にお馴染みとなったグループ「DoD」によるもので、全曲収録ではありません(In My Time Of Dying、 Whole Lotta Love、 Black Dogが未収)が、十分良好と言えるモノラルサウンド。先に登場して話題になったサウンドボード音源を意識しての今回の登場なのでしょうか。そのサウンドボード音源が非常に断片的であったことを考えると、トータルで104分近いこのAud音源は非常に価値の高いものと言えるでしょう。

CD化にあたっては、元データにあった各トラック変わり目の微細なギャップノイズの除去、ピッチ修正、全体の帯域調整(音抜けを良くする方向でEQ)などが若干ながらなされ、さらに全体に漂う歪みノイズもピンポイントで、楽音に影響のない範囲で所々除去されており、全体に当レーベルらしい丁寧なマスタリングがなされております。

ボーナスにはAud音源よりも先に登場して話題になったサウンドボードの断片が収録されています。
今回Soundboard Fragmentsと記載されてますとおり、非常に断片的なものであり、4トラックで延べ4分半程度と、非常に短いものです。
ここでサウンドボード音源登場の流れをおさらいしますと、最初に「The Song Remains The Same」と「The Wanton Song」の2曲が登場し、それが今回ボーナス収録のもの。この2曲は大部分が演奏前のMCパートであり、演奏はほんのさわり程度というもので、「TSRTS」に至っては演奏開始5秒程度でカットというものでした。その後、「TSRTS」、「Rain Song」、「Kashmir」、「The Wanton Song」を収録したCDタイトルが登場。そのCDタイトルでは「TSRTS」の演奏部分を初めて完奏収録したのですが、先に公開されたテイクに収録されていた演奏前のMCパートが未収録。よって本盤ボーナストラックもそれなりに価値のあるものとなっております。そして、そのCDタイトルが登場したあとに、「When The Levee Breaks」と「Black Dog」の2つの断片が登場(やはり本盤にボーナス収録)。これら2トラックは、やはり断片ながら先のCDタイトルには未収のものであり、また「Black Dog」についてはオーディエンス録音も未収録であり、1分に満たない終盤部分の収録ですが、ライブ終演後のMCも含むもので、非常に重要な断片素材であることに違いありません。本盤では元々右寄りだった位相ズレも見事に解消されています。
