■ High sound quality sound board recording.

Although Zeppelin’s concert tours are often divided and described according to age, the UK tour starting from the end of November 1972 after the second visit to Japan arrived, the year continued until January 1973 January It is a series of things done across bridges. As a warming up Switzerland has performed two shows in Montreux and then has been on tours from around November 25, 1972 to January 30, 1973, spending approximately two months. That number 28 performances (including Montreux 2 shows). Contrary to the 1973 American tour being held at a large stadium, this UK tour in winter was done at a small to medium size venue as before. For that reason there is a very close feeling, the atmosphere of the audience is also good, it is also shown in the performance, it is also a tour that has produced numerous nominations. Among the enthusiastic enthusiasts, there are also a lot of people who propose this UK tour for the best tour, which took place from 1972 to 1973.

This UK tour has become the UK tour that has been the largest number ever for Zeppelin, the main target of the American market. Reflecting the craving of the fans, the tickets were popular in that it sold out all the performances within a few hours. And the Stoke-on-Trent performance recorded this work is equivalent to the end of January 15th tour.

Interestingly, in the UK where audience recording does not come out much, this tour is also known that the sound board sound source is running out. Listen to a certain degree of sound source, the Oxford performance (Wendy label “BRITISH STORY”) on January 7, 1973, Southampton performance on January 22, 1973 (Wendy label “SOUTHERMPTON UNIVERSITY” etc.) It will be further accelerated in the European tour which took place in the following March and we can hear many incomplete sound board sound sources such as Vienna, Berlin, Bradford etc. This work on January 15, 1973 Stoke on Trent Performances are also one of the concerts that you can listen with high-quality soundboard sound sources.

The sound quality is not a thin pen pen that tends to be on the desk top sound board, but it is a high quality sound balanced from a heavy bass with a solid mass as the speaker placed on the floor rings with the bass and bass drum. The vocal of the plant was also the sound that could be heard at the concert venue on that day, it was somewhat effected, Southampton as an exception, including the soundboard sound source of the European tour of March, the highest sound quality It will be one of things.

There are some cut parts in terms of content. The part leading to the beginning of “The Song Reminds The Same” and the part leading to the beginning of “The Rain Song”, the part leading to the beginning of “Stairway To Heaven” and “Whole Lotta Love” are missing. Also, after the performance of “Whole Lotta Love” the plant is saying goodbye to “Thank you very much and good night”, but it is unknown whether this concludes or whether the encore was done after this is there. Although there is a possibility that “Heartbreaker” and “Communication Breakdown” etc. were played in view of the tour other tours, the audience sound source also has not been confirmed in this performance, so details are mysteries. In any case, this work is still in the point that it records the sound board which exists the Stoke-on-Trent performance without damaging even one second.

From 1972/1973 UK tour boasting the largest number of masterpieces to date, this work is recorded on January 15, 1973 Stoke on Trent performance with high sound quality sound board. Early gigs will surely gather at this high sound quality, but I definitely would like to listen to that performance as well. Jimmy’s guitar which is as shaky as playing double as usual is probably the biggest feature at this time. Permanent preservation of a beautiful picture / disk specification A tightly pressed press. Japanese style attaching.

「The Song Reminds The Same」のエンディングと「The Rain Song」の冒頭に繋がる部分、「Stairway To Heaven」と「Whole Lotta Love」の冒頭に繋がる部分の2か所が欠落している。
