Our KISS sound board new excavation series that surprises the world. The shocking work of the latest bullet “LICK IT UP Tour” is now available!
“Performance in Toronto, March 15, 1984” is engraved on this work. It is the best stereo sound board recording. When I come to “Vinnie Vincent / Excavation Sound Board / Toronto”, I think of the excavation sound board album “TORONTO 1983 SOUNDBOARD (Zodiac 533)” that shocked me the other day, but of course this work is another tour / another concert. In order to confirm the situation around that, let’s first look back at the outline of activities during Vinnie’s era and see the positional relationship between the two works.

《March: Vinnie Vincent leaves》
This is KISS in the Vinnie Vincent era. As you can see, the previous work “TORONTO 1983” is a live album of “CREATURES OF THE NIGHT Tour”, and this work is a sound board of “LICK IT UP Tour” recorded one year and two months later. In other words, the previous work “TORONTO 1983” and this work are “sister soundboards where you can fully experience the two tours of the Vinnie era at the same venue”. If it is an audience recording, there are occasional items at the same venue, but it is a super-precious collection that is extremely rare in the history of KISS sound source … no, even in the entire history of rock.
Another point is the timing of the tour. The Toronto performance of this work is the last stage of the tour, which is the second performance from the end of the “LICK IT UP Tour”. This is also the end of the Vinnie era. When that happens, “SIOUX CITY 1982 SOUNDBOARD (Zodiac 529)” emerges. It was the first sound board in our Vinnie collection and the second performance after joining. In other words, you can enjoy Vinnie’s “first two performances / last two performances” with “SIOUX CITY 1982” and this work.
The significance of the show alone made it long, but the sound that conveys it is also shocking. This show is also known for its complete sound board, but this work is a super-upgraded Omoto master. The difference is a completely different class … No, it may actually be a different sound board. The sound quality is completely different so that you can not distinguish that side. The strength of the core and sharp details have all improved dramatically, and the sense of stability is incomparable. In the already released Toronto performance SBD, the rough feeling like tape deterioration and the unstable feeling that the balance changes frequently were difficult points, but this work jumps into the brain stably and stably.
And the sense of direct connection to the brain is super-class. A thick-boned core that doesn’t care about home audio, etc. rampages violently. Of course, for the soundboard maniacs who are worn out, the freshness is more than the official. The live performance, which has no decoration or production, shines brightly to the subtleties, and is directly poured into the brain… No, the four KISS are playing in the brain. You can experience the immersive feeling of a different dimension that is far from reality.
Vinnie’s final stage performance is depicted with such a direct outflow sound. Here, let’s organize it by comparing with the above two works.
70’s Classics (8 songs)
・Emissary from Hell: Cold Gin/Firehouse/Gimme More (*)/All Hell’s Breakin’ Loose (*)/Black Diamond
・Other: Rock And Roll All Nite (*) / Detroit Rock City / Love Gun
● 80’s (6 songs)
・Dark Myth: Creatures Of The Night / War Machine / I Love It Loud / I Still Love You
・Reminiscences of Hell: Fits Like A Glove(★*)/Young And Wasted(★*)
*Note: The “★” marks are the same venue soundboard “TORONTO 1983 SOUNDBOARD”, and the “*” marks are songs that cannot be heard on “SIOUX CITY 1982 SOUNDBOARD”.
… and it looks like this. In addition to the new songs of “LICK IT UP”, you can also enjoy the precious songs “Gimme More” and “All Hell’s Breakin ‘Loose” played for the first time on this tour.
What is worrisome here is that there is no “Lick It Up”. In conclusion, it seems that “Lick It Up” was not played on this day, and it was not recorded in the audience recording on the same day (“Lick It Up” was included in the complete sound board group mentioned above There is also a board, but this seems to be patching the sound board of other performances).
“Anyway, it’s a shocking soundboard album.” Is it an upgrade of the already released complete version, or is it a completely different thing that appeared for the first time … In any case, it is a new excavation master with a different listening response and power. You can experience the “CREATURES OF THE NIGHT Tour” / “LICK IT UP Tour” side by side with “TORONTO 1983” at the same venue, or listen to and compare the early / final days of the Vinny era with “SIOUX CITY 1982”. Not only is this work itself a shocking work, but it is also a super rare trilogy that you can enjoy listening to and comparing with a direct-to-class sound board. Exactly a gem of a sound board mania coveted. Please enjoy Tokoton with the permanent preservation press 2CD!
★ Stereo sound board recording of “March 15, 1984 Toronto Performance”. A new excavation master brought from its own route, the sound recorded directly from the mix table just before Vinnie left (the second performance from the end) is a super upgrade that is completely different from the existing one. The strength of the core, the sharp details, the sense of stability, everything is incomparable. It is a new masterpiece of “LICK IT UP Tour” that is fun to listen to and compare with the same venue sound board “TORONTO 1983 (Zodiac 533)” of “CREATURES OF THE NIGHT Tour”.
