KISS’s super-superb soundboard series, where new excavations of earth-shattering earth are constantly being discovered. This time, the three consecutive no-makeup works from the mid-80s will be released at the same time as a permanent press CD!
The world’s premiere soundboards this time are two from the 80’s “ANIMALIZE Tour” and one from the “ASYLUM Tour” in total of three works. This work is a stereo sound board recording of “March 29, 1985 East Rutherford Performance”, which is the second edition. Regarding the replacement play from Mark St. John to Bruce Kulick, let’s leave it to the explanation of “CALGARY 1985 SOUNDBOARD (Zodiac 551)” which will be released at the same time, and let’s look back on the schedule roughly in an easy-to-understand manner here.
● 1984
・ January 1-March 17: North America # 1 (53 performances)
《“ANIMALIZE” released on September 13th》
《Mark St. John Poor Health → Bruce Kulick Participation》

《“ASYLUM” released on September 16th》
・November 29-December 31: North America #3 (23 performances)
This is the 1984/1985 KISS. This work corresponds to “North America # 2b” of the final stage of “ANIMALIZE Tour”, but from here sound boards such as “CALGARY 1985 SOUNDBOARD” and “SAN BERNARDINO 1985” released at the same time have also been produced. Let’s narrow it down further and understand the positional relationship of each album.
-Details of North America #2b
・January 3-February 18 (36 performances)
・February 20 “SAN BERNARDINO 1985”
・February 21-March 2 (7 performances)
・March 3 “CALGARY 1985 SOUNDBOARD”
・ March 7-28 (17 performances)
・ March 29: East Rutherford performance ← ★ this work ★
All 63 performances above. All three soundboards are late in “North America # 2b”, but especially the East Rutherford performance of this work was the genuine last day. This work recorded on such an easy day is a superb sound board with “super”. All excavated sound boards that are repeated are of the highest grade, but this work is top class among them. It has both the vividness of direct connection to the mix desk and the ease of listening to FM broadcasting. The same expression was used in the simultaneous release “CALGARY 1985 SOUNDBOARD”, but in comparison, this work has a stronger “outflow”. Mixes that aren’t intended for home audio playback can be a little rough, while drums, effects, and more pan across brutal stereo widths. This different-dimensional stereo feeling is also a real pleasure that can only be experienced with the outflow soundboard, and if you are a soundboard maniac who is worn out, you may prefer this work.
A full show similar to and different from “CALGARY 1985 SOUNDBOARD” is drawn on such a direct sound board. Again, let’s organize it by comparing it with the official video “ANIMALIZE LIVE UNCENSORED”, which is a symbol of the tour.

… and it looks like this. Since the beginning of “Love Gun” is cut-in due to a recording leak, it is not strictly perfect, but you can enjoy an almost complete full show. The cover you’re looking forward to is “Oh! Susannah”, but you can enjoy the masterpieces of no-makeup KISS such as “Young and Wasted” only in the 80’s, “Fits Like A Glove” and “Under the Gun” with direct sound to your brain. is irreplaceable.
After many twists and turns, the “ANIMALIZE Tour” has arrived at the most important line-up of the no-makeup era. It is the world’s first public sound board of shock that the final day is directly poured into the brain. A masterpiece that is not only valuable and impactful, but also musically intense. Enjoy anytime, forever with the permanent preservation press 2CD!
* Stereo sound board recording of “East Rutherford performance on March 29, 1985”. It is the first appearance sound source of the whole world shock excavated by its own route, and the quality is also superb. The rawness of the on-site mix is intense, the drums and effects pan with a fierce stereo width, and the vocals are breathtaking. It is an outflow sound board where you can enjoy masterpieces from the no-makeup era such as precious “Oh!
