KISS in 1992, who was vomiting with “REVENGE”, one of the best masterpieces of the no-makeup era. Three masterpiece live albums that allow you to experience the tour on site will be released at the same time.
This work is the second in a series of three. “Birmingham performance on May 26, 1992”. It is an excellent audience recording. Speaking of the main battlefield of KISS, it is the home country America, and this work is the only overseas recording in this trilogy. Let’s look back at that position in the whole tour and check the positional relationship with the other two works.

・ April 23-May 10: North America # 1 (13 performances) ← * TEMPE 1992
・ May 16th-26th: UK (8 performances) ← Coco
《Release of “REVENGE” on May 19》
・September 27 “REVENGE IS READY”
・September 30 “REVENGE TOUR PRESS SHOW 1992 (rehearsal)”
・October 1-December 20: North America #2 (55 performances) ← *NEW JERSEY 1992

This is KISS in 1992. Although it is almost filled with North American records, including rehearsals, the only exception was the “UK” leg in May. The Birmingham performance of this work is the last day of such a “British” leg. It is an esoteric live album that teaches us the “hot spot of the tour” that we have never introduced in our shop because there are few places.
This work, which conveys such a precious scene, has a rich sound with a thick sound that creates dynamism. It’s the most audience-like type among the three series, but the point is that it doesn’t feel distant. The core is powerful and straight to the hands, and the hall noise that rises from there adds a thick and dynamic color to the performance sound and vocals. To be honest, in the middle of the first song “I Stole Your Love”, I have a bad feeling about it, but I would like you not to give up here. This is only for 45 seconds, and the sky clears up before the song ends (apparently he got lost in the direction of the microphone in the first song). After that, the clearness above the beginning is refreshing, and you can enjoy fine details beautifully.
The dynamic sound depicts a full show of the “British” leg that has never been heard before. The set is the same selection as “TEMPE 1992 (Shades 1690)” of “North America # 1”, but the song order is different. On the other hand, it is quite different from “NEW JERSEY 1992 (Shades 1691)” in “North America #2”, so let’s reorganize it by comparing it with the latter.

70’s Classics (15 songs)
・Emissary from Hell: Deuce/Strutter (★)/100,000 Years (★)/Firehouse/Cold Gin
・Hell Corps: Shout It Out Loud / I Was Made For Lovin’ You (★) / God Of Thunder (★) / Detroit Rock City
・Others: Parasite/Rock And Roll All Nite/Calling Dr. Love(★)/I Want You/Love Gun/I Stole Your Love(★)
● No makeup era (7 songs)
・ Revenge: Unholy / Take It Off / God Gave Rock ‘n’ Roll To You II
・Others: I Love It Loud/Lick It Up/Heaven’s On Fire/Tears Are Falling
*Note: “★” marks are songs that cannot be heard on the simultaneous release “NEW JERSEY 1992”.

… and it looks like this. In the main leg “North America # 2”, there were many numbers from the no-makeup era such as “REVENGE”, but in the “UK” leg, which has just been released, the 70’s repertoire is the axis. Eric Singer, who has just joined such Greatest Hits, is a wild show.
Also, as mentioned above, the song order is different from “North America #1”. Although the basic flow is followed, “Love Gun”, which was the pole position in “NEW JERSEY 1992”, was turned to the second half of the show in this work, and instead started with “I Stole Your Love”. This alone is quite different from the image.
KISS’ UK tour was somehow linked to the Olympics until the 90’s. In 1992, it was held with the Barcelona Olympics just around the corner. This work is a live album that revives the scene of such history with dynamic real sound. Even in this 3 series, it is one that stands out for its thickness and rarity. Please take your time and enjoy the experience.

★Exquisite audience recording of “May 26, 1992 in Birmingham”. A rich sound with a strong and straight core, and a rich sound that makes the performance sound and vocals thick and dynamic. It is a new excavation live album where you can fully experience the British leg at the beginning of the “REVENGE Tour”, which has only been recorded in North America so far.
