A new excavation sound board incident of “CREATURES OF THE NIGHT Tour” that is shaking collectors all over the world. Following last week, two more transcendental soundboard albums will be released at the same time!
This work is the first of two simultaneous releases. It is a super powerful sound board recording of “January 14, 1983 Toronto performance”. A total of five soundboard albums have appeared, including the three consecutive shots last week. First of all, the position of the show. Together with last week’s three works, let’s take a bird’s eye view of the schedule at that time.

This is the overall picture of the “CREATURES OF THE NIGHT Tour”. “PINE BLUFF & HOUSTON 1983 SOUNDBOARD (Zodiac 532)”, which will be released at the same time, is somewhat special, so it is omitted, and the other four works are listed. This work is the third following the sister works “SIOUX CITY 1982 SOUNDBOARD (Zodiac 529)” and “ROCKFORD 1982 SOUNDBOARD (Zodiac 530)” which were very early tours. It is a sound board album recorded at the 9th performance of “North America # 1b”.
This work has a super powerful sound that is as strong as last week’s three consecutive shots. In the same way, it is a direct connection to the mix table, and while the cheering of the large audience is recorded as if whispering far away, the live performance of the four people is approaching with a powerful core. It feels like all the performance sounds are ringing in the brain, and even the slightly rough switching, such as a little vocal effect and Vinnie Vincent’s guitar that suddenly gets louder in a solo, is super realistic. If you have experienced at least one of the three titles from last week, you can think of it as a continuation of that title, and if you haven’t experienced it, you can imagine it as a top-level outflow system. Of course, this work is not the net original sound as it is, but is treated with meticulous mastering. Pitch correction and balance adjustment are also carried out while maintaining the impact of the sudden sound. It is the best version that pursues perfection as a music work.
A full show that is different from last week’s three consecutive works is drawn with that transcendental and super powerful sound. Although it is close to “SIOUX CITY 1982” and “ROCKFORD 1982” in terms of time, “EL PASO 1983 (Zodiac 531)” is the closest in terms of show content, so let’s organize it while comparing.

… and it looks like this. Since the beginning of “War Machine” is missing, it is not a complete recording in a strict sense, but you can experience almost the entire show. In terms of selection, it is similar to “SIOUX CITY 1982” and “ROCKFORD 1982”, but the order of songs has changed significantly. The opening “Creatures Of The Night” followed by “Detroit Rock City” has a structure that seems to be “CREATURES OF THE NIGHT Tour”. The flow is close to “EL PASO 1983”, but the big difference is the existence of “Shout It Out Loud”. The set is dropped in the middle of “North America # 2”, and it is also the personality of the middle stage of the tour.

★ Super powerful sound board recording of “January 14, 1983 Toronto performance”. This is the fourth installment of the CREATURES OF THE NIGHT Tour soundboard, which continues to be newly discovered, and this time, the feeling of close contact recorded directly from the mix desk is enormous. “Shout It Out Loud”, which was dropped during the tour, is a new masterpiece of transcendence in which the mid-term show is poured directly into the brain.

これが“CREATURES OF THE NIGHT Tour”の全体像。同時リリースとなる『PINE BLUFF & HOUSTON 1983 SOUNDBOARD（Zodiac 532）』はやや特殊なので省略し、他４作を記してあります。本作はツアー極初期だった姉妹作『SIOUX CITY 1982 SOUNDBOARD（Zodiac 529）』『ROCKFORD 1982 SOUNDBOARD（Zodiac 530）』に続く三番目。「北米#1b」の９公演目で記録されたサウンドボード・アルバムなのです。
そんな本作は、先週の３連発にも負けない超強力サウンド。同じようにミックス卓の直結系でして、大観衆の声援も遠く遠くに囁くように収録されつつ、４人の生演奏は芯も丸出しのド迫力で迫る。すべての演奏音が脳内で鳴っているようなシンクロ感ですし、ちょっとしたヴォーカル・エフェクトやソロで突然大きくなるヴィニー・ヴィンセントのギターなど、少々荒っぽいスイッチングまで超リアル。先週の３タイトルのうち、１本でも体験された方なら「あの続き」と思って頂ければ結構ですし、未体験の方なら「最高峰レベルの流出系」をイメージして頂ければ間違いありません。もちろん本作はネット原音そのままでもなく、細心マスタリングでトリートメント。度急なサウンドの衝撃度はそのままに、ピッチ補整やバランス調整も実施。音楽作品としての完成度も追求したベスト・バージョンに仕上げております。
その超絶・超強力サウンドで描かれるのは、先週の３連作とも異なるフルショウ。時期的には『SIOUX CITY 1982』『ROCKFORD 1982』に近いものの、ショウ内容的には『EL PASO 1983（Zodiac 531）』が一番近いので、比較しながら整理してみましょう。

……と、このようになっています。「War Machine」の序盤が欠けている為に厳密な意味での完全収録ではありませんが、ほぼショウ全景を体験できます。セレクト的には『SIOUX CITY 1982』『ROCKFORD 1982』にも通じるのですが、曲順は大幅に変更。オープニング「Creatures Of The Night」に「Detroit Rock City」が続く“CREATURES OF THE NIGHT Tour”らしい構成が出来ています。その流れは『EL PASO 1983』に近いのですが、大きな違いは「Shout It Out Loud」の存在。「北米#2」の半ばにセット落ちしており、ツアー中盤の個性ともなっているのです。
やや細かい話になってしまいましたが、兎にも角にも衝撃のサウンド・クオリティ。コレに尽きます。先週の３タイトルでド肝を抜かれた方なら「あんなのがまだ出てきたの!?」と驚かれるでしょうが、出てきてしまったのです。まさか、2022年になって音源の穴場だった“CREATURES OF THE NIGHT Tour”が一気にサウンドボード大豊作地帯に変わるとは……。衝撃発掘のツアー中盤篇となる１本。どうぞ、今週も超絶サウンドでヴィニー時代KISSを脳みそに流し込んでください！
