The “DYNASTY Tour” marked the end of the original KISS. It is the emergence of a super-superb audience set that allows you to experience the scene.
This work contains two records of one show. “November 27, 1979 Fresno Performance”. This is a 3-disc set of audience sets with the superlative full recording on DISC 1-2 and the superb view 8mm video on DISC 3. The album “DYNASTY” was also a unique work, but the tour was also a tour with a special feeling in the original era. In order to explain the meaning, let’s first take a bird’s eye view of the live activities of the golden age.

“May 1980: Peter Criss leaves”
This is a live brief history from debut to Peter Chris withdrawal. Ever since their debut, they have continued to tour after tour, and they had a tight schedule that made me think, “When the hell did you make an album?” It ended in the spring of 1978. After the “ALIVE II Tour” ended, he released a best-of album and a solo album, and there was a gap of more than a year until the next tour. In other words, while the original four people were aligned, it was a tour that was isolated from only one.
Of course, a set that includes solo albums and “DYNASTY” numbers is also special. Speaking of “DYNASTY Tour”, our soundboard album “KNOXVILLE 1979 SOUNDBOARD (Zodiac 549)” reigns as a symbol, so let’s organize it while comparing.
● Classics (12 songs)
・Emissary from Hell: Firehouse/Black Diamond

●After 1978 (4 songs)

* Note: “★” marks are limited songs only for this tour. The “*” marks are songs that could not be heard on “KNOXVILLE 1979 SOUNDBOARD”.
First of all, DISC 1-2, which is the main part of this work, is ridiculously superb. Incomplete and bad sound recordings were famous on this day, but this work is completely different. It is a complete version master provided by an overseas KISS researcher, and its quality is “just like a sound board” itself. A very thick core, a ring with zero sense of distance, too fine details, and a sense of separation that is vivid. Rather than describing it in words, would it be easier to understand if I said, “Even if I put it side by side with that intense board KNOXVILLE 1979 SOUNDBOARD, I’m not even half a step behind”? Moreover, the balance is more natural than “KNOXVILLE 1979 SOUNDBOARD”, which was directly connected to the desk. Aside from the recording method, this work goes above as a music album.
Although pressing was postponed because there was no confirmation as to whether it was the original master, the quality itself is a transcendental sound of a complete press class. It may be the best recording in the 70’s total. [DISC 3: Precious Superb 8mm Film] Even such a full album alone makes me dizzy, but it is the video version of DISC 3 that makes the special feeling stand out. It is an 8mm film that has been released independently as “Shades 1154”. If you are an avid collector, you may remember that Fresno footage of various bands erupted in 2020, but the KISS edition was especially long and high in quality, and was said to be “the masterpiece of the Fresno footage collection.” . This disc is a reprint of the transcendent video.
Unlike video, it is a digest of each song only for 8 mm film that can shoot only a few minutes at most, but it still captures various gimmicks, and the total 47 minutes is wonderful. And the visual beauty of the film far exceeds VHS is wonderful, and the view with zero obstructions is also super superb. (Probably the same as DISC 1-2) Ultra-superb audio is also synchronized, so you can experience the precious show scene live.
Our KISS collection, which is boiling with soundboards / professional shots leaked by stakeholders. This work is different from such professional records, but it is not defeated in terms of quality … No, it even transcends. The ultimate 3-disc set that allows you to enjoy a special tour with special quality. Please enjoy it to your heart’s content!
★ A 3-disc set of audience sets that includes a superlative full recording of “November 27, 1979 Fresno performance” on DISC 1-2 and a spectacular 8mm video on DISC 3. The main full recording (DISC 1-2) is “just like a sound board” itself, and it’s a frightening thing that doesn’t give up half a step to “KNOXVILLE 1979 SOUNDBOARD”, which is a genuine direct-to-desk sound board. DISC 3 is an 8mm film that became a hot topic in 2020. Although it is a digest of about 47 minutes, you can experience the valuable DYNASTY Tour on-site with visual beauty that is impossible with VHS.
