The 2022 HR / HM scene that has revived from the pandemic and has begun to move. Introducing the latest footage of Kotetsushin, who has received the most attention.
This work was shot at “March 29, 2022 Philadelphia Performance”. It is the superb view audience shot. The “50 HEAVY METAL YEARS Tour”, which restarted in 2022, is very popular in our shop. If you’ve noticed this article, you know that there are already some titles out there. Since the recent situation of the gods and future plans are repeated in the already published commentary, let’s narrow down to 2022 only and check the positional relationship of each title.

This is the 2022 JUDAS PRIEST. The three works so far have been recorded in quick succession from shows that are quite close to each other, but the Philadelphia performance of this work was the 16th concert about two weeks away.
The point of this work shot at such a show is the changed set list, but the quality of drawing it is amazing! The most wonderful thing is the stunning “super” view. The video work “LOS ANGELES 2022: THE VIDEO (Shades 1490)” that I introduced the other day had a great feeling in front of me from the front seat, but this work is the exact opposite and has a strong sense of view. The picture was taken from the second floor, looking down a little, and the shadows of the front row could not be seen at all. What’s more, if you pull it all the way out, the whole view of the stage fits in perfectly, and you can see the highlights as much as you want. If you have experienced “LOS ANGELES 2022: THE VIDEO”, you will be surprised, but while the front row shots are overwhelmed by the power in front of you, you can not taste the show production. If Rob goes to the edge because of the limited angle, he can’t keep up with it, and he can’t fully enjoy the flashy screen image.
However, this work is different. Everything is visible from corner to corner of the stage. There is a distance to that extent, but the super-zoom function of the latest equipment is more than offset by that. Even if the screen is filled with Rob’s head, which screams down and screams, there is no out-of-focus in its brilliance. Of course, because it’s a camera work that emphasizes spectacularness, there are only a few such incomprehensible do-ups, but I’m surprised that it’s beautiful even if you get close to it. Naturally, you can carefully worship that huge three-pronged cross symbol with a great spectacle.
The 50th anniversary set that has undergone a minor change again is drawn in such a superb view. Here, let’s organize it while comparing it with “LOS ANGELES 2022: THE VIDEO”.

これが2022年のJUDAS PRIEST。これまでの３作品はかなり近接したショウから立て続けに収録されていましたが、本作のフィラデルフィア公演は約２週間離れた16公演目にあたるコンサートでした。
そんなショウで撮影された本作は変更されたセットリストもポイントなのですが、それを描き出すクオリティこそが凄い！　何と言っても素晴らしいのは、ド肝を抜く「超」絶景。先日ご紹介した映像作『LOS ANGELES 2022: THE VIDEO（Shades 1490）』は最前席からの目の前感が凄かったのですが、本作は真逆で見渡し感が強烈。２階席からやや見下ろしで撮影されており、最前列なのか前列の影などが一切視界に入らない。しかも、思いっきり引くとステージ全景がスッポリと収まる視点であり、見どころを見たい放題に捉えている。『LOS ANGELES 2022: THE VIDEO』を体験された方ならピンと来ると思いますが、最前列ショットは超目の前のド迫力に圧倒される一方、ショウ演出は味わい尽くせない。角度が限られるためにロブが端っこに行ってしまうとその先は追えず、ド派手なスクリーン映像も堪能しきれないのです。
ところが本作は違う。ステージの隅から隅まで全部が丸見え。その分距離はあるわけですが、それを相殺して余りあるのが最新機材の超ズーム機能。グイグイと寄って寄って寄りまくり、下を向いて絶叫するロブの頭で画面が埋まってもその輝きに一切のピンボケがない。もちろん、見応え重視のカメラワークなためにそんな意味不明なドアップはちょっとしか出てきませんが、そこまで寄っても美しいのですから驚き。当然、あの巨大な三叉十字のシンボルも凄いスペクタクルでじっくりと拝めるのです。
