From the 1993 European tour that John McLaughlin challenged as a free spirit in a trio formation, a 4-disc set that summarizes live performances in Germany, Poland, and Sweden with high-quality sound board sound sources is released for the first time! The Jazz Festival in Münster, Germany on June 27, 1993, the Summer Jazz Festival in Poland on July 9, and the UMEA Jazz Festival in Sweden on November 29 are recorded from the sound board sound board for broadcasting. The Polish Summer Jazz Festival has almost completed two stages, although there are some incomplete recordings. It is a set of 4 soundboards live that is highly recommended as the best collection that summarizes the live records as John McLaughlin & Free Spirits in 1993.
