It is a sound board live sound source in the trio organization of John Abercrombie. Even if it is called a trio, it is a three-headed band with three people. There is also a live album of this organization on the ECM label, and it is positioned as the next item to listen to. Excellent sound quality with FM broad sound source. The master had a little talk in French by DJ, but I cut everything and edited it so that I can enjoy only the music. As for the members other than Abercrombie, Peter Erskine is famous as a drummer of Weather Report. Marc Johnson is backed by Bill Evans (a pianist) and has since co-starred with Peter Erskine in his own leader, Bass Desire. If you like listening to the ECM board, please listen to it as well. It’s a live performance a few months before the ECM board.
ジョン・アバークロンビーのトリオ編成でのサウンドボード・ライヴ音源です。トリオと言っても三人併記の三頭バンド。ECMレーベルでこの編成のライヴ・アルバムも出ており、それを聴いた次のアイテムといった位置づけです。FMブロード音源で音質抜群。マスターにはDJのフランス語でのトークも少し入っていましたが、全てカットし音楽だけを楽しめるよう編集してあります。一応アバークロンビー以外のメンバーについて触れると、ピーター・アースキンはウェザーリポートのドラマーとして有名。マーク・ジョンソンはビル・エヴァンス（ピアニストの方）のバックで活躍し、その後自身リーダーを務めるベース・デザイアでは先のピーター・アースキン共共演しています。ECM盤を聴いて気に入った方はぜひこちらも聴いてみてください。ECM盤の数か月前のライヴです。
