As a keyboardist to replace Greg / Laurie, Jonathan Cain joined and produced a new album “ESCAPE” announced and finally arrived at the journey in 1981, from the third Japanese tour, the Tokyo Koga Anniversary 2nd Day A DVD that fully recorded about 1 hour and 38 minutes with high-quality professional shot video appears. The video master is the same as the already launched “LINE OF FIRE” (now sold out, out of print), but the sound quality and sound pressure are improving, and it is at 2:40 of the 2nd line of line of fire that was in line with the previous episode There is no sound break. The video recorded in “LINE OF DEPARTURE” which included the simultaneous released 1980 Tokyo performances also has superior quality as a boot leg, but this 1981 version of the Tokyo video has more to do as a quality So, if this is the official material, it is a level that can be used sufficiently. Steve Perry ‘s singing song, Neil Sean’ s unusual technical guitar play is enough to listen to any song. Of course not only the tracks of “Escape” but also the instruments “When The Love Has Gone” of the movie “After a Dream, a Dream” and Babys’ “Turn Around In Tokyo” featuring Jonathan are being played at this time It is rare and valuable record. And, to my surprise, what is surprising is that it is a high quality image / sound that was built and, if Omimoto master exists, if it releases officially, it will be in the name lock / live image remaining in the rock history I think that there is no mistake. A splendid band ensemble with five members together is a word of the masterpiece, and among them Steve Smith ‘s splendid play will have everyone gazing at the screen. Although the music has increased melodic pop-oriented numbers, the journey in this period is a perfect rock band and you can experience the excitement of the masterpiece at various places. Although the audience seats appear many times with “Any Way You Want It”, it was very early in the 80’s and it is very good feeling, we will be full of nostalgia too. It is a perfect one piece of inevitable that it will be a video title representing this year.

★ It is a review summary of beatleg magazine vol.153 (April 2013 issue). For your information.

Following the withdrawal of Greg Raleigh, JOURNEY welcomes Jonathan Caine of The Babys. In addition to Kane, they recorded the “ESCAPE” album in the spring of ’81 and started the tour from the timing when releasing the album, but the beginning was from Japan which was the last place of the tour last year. The tour started from the Osaka Festival Hall on 27th July, 81, after landing in Nagoya on 28th and landing in Tokyo. Three performances were held in Tokyo with the Shinjuku employee pension plan, Nakano Senpara etc, but the 31st Shinjuku performance on Sunday is recorded as a pro shot video. This video is a famous thing where TV OA was done, but depending on the program, there were many edited version of OA, so it is pleasant that the stage in general is one title.
Cain not only contributed greatly to the band as a songwriter but also abolished the Hammond organ that was frequently used by his predecessor Raleigh, corresponded only with the stage piano and Prophet – 5, and played a rhythm guitar depending on the song, Show your success. The completion of their big break “ESCAPE” album is complete, the stage of the band just after being born again as a new generation is a spectacular one. Although they will change to huge as a production after the big hit, the band’s performance of 81 years is full of analog live sensation as well as the best quality as a performance, even as a set list (⑥ from the album “Dream, After Dream” album and ⑪ of Kane) are valuable), this 81 year performance connecting the footsteps of the bands that followed in the 1970s and the new era of the ’80s It will be one milestone as well.
Although it is a classic live image, it is deeply touched by the bands in the upward tide as uplifting as they are pierced by the straightforwardness that their intentions are conveyed seriously when they look back at the current eyes again, deep It is an assurance that you will be impressed.

★ Directly gifted the “THE NIGHT ESCAPE” which was released in 2013 and reached the present moment with the best performance of the past 81 years in Tokyo and the highly valued among maniacs. It is the best content of all rock and fan must-see.

「Any Way You Want It」で観客席が何度も映りますが、非常に80年代初頭していて、非常に良い感じで、見ている我々も懐かしさでいっぱいになってしまうことでしょう。
