Two major incidents of Jeff Beck’s visit to Japan will be released at the same time. Both of these two titles are new excavation masters of the 1980 performance in Japan, which are extremely popular. The first of these is the legendary super-famous recording Omoto cassette. Introducing the Press 2CD, which permanently stores the highest peak update sound.
[Original cassette of legendary recording is an archaeological excavation] What is recorded in this work is a transcendental audience recording of the performance of “December 16, 1980: Yokohama Cultural Gymnasium”. The Japan tour with the famous board “THERE AND BACK” is so monumental that we have archived many masterpieces in our shop. This week we will be releasing two works at the same time, so let’s organize the show positions by schedule first.・ December 4 “TOKYO 1980 1ST NIGHT (Budokan)”
・ December 5 “DEFINITIVE OSAKA 1980 1ST NIGHT (Prefectural Gymnasium)”
・ December 8: Kyuden Memorial Gymnasium
・ December 9: Kurashiki Memorial Hall
・ December 10 “HERE, THERE AND BACK (Osaka Festival Hall)”
・ December 11: Nagoya City Assembly Hall
・ December 12: Miyagi Prefectural Civic Center
・ December 14: Prefectural industry co-promotion venue
・ December 16: Yokohama Cultural Gymnasium ← ★ This work ★

・ December 18 “CYCLONE (Budokan)”
* Only representative works on each day.
Above, all 11 performances. The Yokohama Park of this work was the 9th concert that returned to Kanto after traveling all over the country. I think that many people have already come, but it is known that a famous recording was left on this day, and the Amsterdam label “NOW & THEN” was famous in the old days, and the upgrade board “THE DEFINITIVE” is also in our shop. “FINAL PEACE” has become a big staple. Actually, this work is the same traditional recording, but it is not a recurrence or remaster of the existing group. The original cassette of that traditional recording was finally excavated.
[Sound that combines vividness and naturalness beyond imagination] I think that there are many people who have already decided on this alone, but this shock is not just for Beck collectors. In fact, this Omoto cassette was brought to you by THE POLICE’s “BUDOKAN 1981 (Wardour-465)” and WHITESNAKE’s “TOKYO 1980 1ST NIGHT (Zodiac 446)”, which had a shocking sound quality last week. Same route as. There was a lot of talk about “official work-class sound!” And “Japanese Mike Millard !?”, but that should be the case. It was the work of the same recorder as the legendary board “NOW & THEN”!The fact alone made my spine tingle, but this work is a legendary recording Omoto cassette. I’m upgrading further, and although I can’t believe that the legendary sound has improved, I have to believe it because it actually flows out of the speakers and into my ears. From the previous edition “THE DEFINITIVE FINAL PEACE”, there was no sense of distance in the powerful core, and the fine details were barefoot on the sound board. However, the outline of this work is even more vivid and the feeling of close contact is increasing. Speaking sensuously, until the last time, it was a feeling of zero distance like putting your ears on the speaker, but this work is an immersive feeling like putting a plug in your ear. It’s so vivid that you can’t think it’s passed through the atmosphere once.
Actually, this vividness can be produced even by remastering, but the scary part of the Omoto cassette is that it is completely unprocessed. This work is a completely flat transfer and has not been processed at all. This significance is great. However, the vividness realized only by the good freshness is natural even with ultra-fine vibes, and there is no distortion or deterioration. If you are experiencing “THE DEFINITIVE FINAL PEACE”, please compare it with “The Pump” of this work. A cymbal sounds in the intro, but the peak of this work is sharp, and the reverberation is smooth and does not shake. It’s a reality that you can see the shining cymbals vibrating in front of you.
Moreover, the performance itself is ridiculously wonderful on this day. The first day of my visit to Japan was in Tokyo, where Jeff and Tony Hymas made many mistakes, and Simon Phillips led the show. However, after that, as the ensemble went around the region, the ensemble became familiar, and the peak was from Nagoya (6 performances) to Yokohama (9th performance) of this work. What’s more, Yokohama became a great performance that was not only complete but also wild and highly exciting, perhaps because it made me feel better.
I was surprised at the best of THE POLICE, WHITESNAKE, and Hall & Oat board last week, but it was a taper work that achieved “NOW & THEN”. Not only did this work reveal that fact, but it also upgraded to the essential noun masterpiece with the original cassette sound. The biggest shocking work in 2021. Please fully enjoy the new excavation of miracles together with the simultaneous release “TOKYO 1980 (Wardour-468)”.
★ Recording of a transcendental audience for the performance of “December 16, 1980: Yokohama Cultural Gymnasium”. The original cassette of the traditional masterpieces “NOW & THEN” and “THE DEFINITIVE FINAL PEACE” is a miracle excavation. It is the ultimate product that has been directly digitized. In fact, it surpasses the conventional barefoot sound board, with an overwhelmingly vivid outline and close contact, and the freshness without distortion even in the fine parts is dazzling. For example, the cymbal of the “The Pump” intro. The peak of this work is sharp, and the reverberation is smooth and does not shake. It’s a reality that you can see the shining cymbals vibrating in front of you. You can enjoy the best and most famous performances on the 1980 Japan Tour with the highest peak update sound.
