Dan Rampinsky, a legend of the 70’s taper named alongside Mike Millard. The “masterpiece of the QUEEN bootleg” left by that historic master is brushed up and reprinted. Introducing the permanent storage press 2CD.

[The best masterpiece of QUEEN and a treasure that made Rampinsky famous] The masterpiece was recorded in “January 30, 1976 Boston performance”. It is a transcendental audience recording that captures the act of “A NIGHT AT THE OPERA TOUR”. Nothing can be called a monument like this recording. Sound is more intense than anything else. Although it is a master that was excavated about 10 years ago, when it was posted on the collector’s site, it received the highest evaluation such as “EX+” “A++”, and in the review “The best QUEEN recording in history” “The treasure of the 70’s audience” And received rave reviews. Although the so-called sound board-like closeness is also strong, its dignified natural sound revives “1976” at a level of reality, and if you say “sound board” etc., it is rude to the sound source. .. It is a special piece in the Rampinsky collection that produced a large number of representative works of each band/artist, and it is a super masterpiece that raises the name of that master to the mirror grade.
Only for such a super name recording, it has been released many times and has been a big hit and sold out. Of course, each time we upgrade using the latest equipment and technology we have. This work is the latest 2020 version. The sound is the ultimate in vividness and naturalness. Previously existing groups (“A NIGHT AT BOSTON DEFINITIVE EDITION”, “DEFINITIVE BOSTON 1976 2ND NIGHT”, etc.) were also honed with full mastering, so they are not “different” (rather different) It’s a bad type), but its “extreme” feeling is great.
For example, the previous work pursued a sound board-like closeness and sharpness of the edge, but the mastering of this work has a natural sound. Rather than sharply attacking or sharpening the contour, the focus is on the resolution of the fine parts, and on top of that the range is as wide as possible. If you visualize this in an easy-to-understand way, it seems that the conventional board was aimed at “almost official work”, but this work is “reproduction on site”. Assuming that the previous edition had a glaring, gorgeous and “push” straight-ball feel, this work would draw too much “detail” and “three-dimensionality” to the direct feel of the performance. If you are looking for a “sound board alternative”, you may prefer the previous edition, but it is this work that really melts into the beauty of the customer record.

[The masterpiece because the live itself is a masterpiece] And, more important than that sound is the show itself. I think that those who know the existing group have already decided their mind, but let’s review the basics for those who are new to it. Speaking of the “Opera Night” era, there is now the official edition “A NIGHT AT THE ODEON: HAMMERSMITH 1975”, but this work is just after that. Let’s look back at the schedule at that time.

《November 21 “Night at the Opera” released》
・November 14-December 24: UK (26 performances) ← *Official
● 1976
・January 27-March 12: USA (33 performances) ←★Coco★
・March 22-April 4: Japan (9 performances)
・April 11-23: Australia (8 performances)

This is the whole picture of “A NIGHT AT THE OPERA TOUR”. The official version was the last day of the “UK” tour, but this work is the third performance of the “US” leg, which is the beginning of 1976 when the year changed. In other words, it was after 3 performances of “HAMMERSMITH 1975”. Even though it is the latest, the difference in condition across the year-end and New Year holidays is clear. In the official “HAMMERSMITH 1975”, Freddie and Brian suffered from influenza in addition to tiredness on the last day of the tour. Considering the circumstances, it seemed like a tremendous effort, but it wasn’t at its best. On the other hand, the Boston performance of this work has just set the condition completely within a month, and has just entered the enemy America to conquer. The singing voice is strong and strong. It’s a bit different from the tension that hits the sky, but it is a masterpiece that pushes out with a sense of fulfillment that deepens your mind and body. Speaking of the uplifting singing voice of “Seven Seas Of Rhye”… Moreover, the set is much longer than “HAMMERSMITH 1975”. Let’s organize while comparing them here.

・Dreadful Princess: Son And Daughter/Doing All Right (★)/Keep Yourself Alive/Liar
・Queen II: Ogre Battle/White Queen (As It Began)/The March Of The Black Queen/Seven Seas Of Rhye
・Shear Heart Attack: Flick Of The Wrist (★)/Killer Queen/Bring Back That Leroy Brown/Brighton Rock/Stone Cold Crazy(★)/In The Lap Of The Gods…Revisited/Now I’m Here
・Night at the Opera: Bohemian Rhapsody/Sweet Lady (★)/The Prophet’s Song (★)/Lazing On A Sunday Afternoon (★)
・Others: Big Surrender/Jailhouse Rock/Stupid Cupid / Be-Bop-A-Lula
*Note: The “★” marks are songs that cannot be heard on the official edition “A NIGHT AT THE ODEON: HAMMERSMITH 1975”.

…And this is how it looks. There are 6 repertoires that can’t be heard on the official version, but the most remarkable is “Lazing On A Sunday After noon”. Although it is a rare song that has only recorded about Japan performance and Hyde Park, you can enjoy it with the sound of official master board. Moreover, unlike the Japanese performance, it is the initial version singing with the vocal line & chorus that is similar to the album.
It doesn’t make any sense whether it’s a sound board or an audience. A super-named recording called “QUEEN’s masterpiece”, the highest peak in a dimension that exceeds both official and informal. That is the horizon of this work. It’s a great introduction to an unofficial album, and the last one will be this one. No matter how sold it may be, it is a super-master board that cannot be allowed to disappear from the market. Please enjoy it with the permanent storage press 2CD.

(Remastered memo)
★ Originally high sound quality, but expanded the range as much as possible to improve the separation of the performance.

“A NIGHT AT THE OPERA TOUR”の一幕を捉えた超絶級オーディエンス録音です。

これが“A NIGHT AT THE OPERA TOUR”の全体像。

Son And Daughter/Doing All Right(★)/Keep Yourself Alive/Liar
II:Ogre Battle/White Queen (As It Began)/The March Of The Black Queen/Seven Seas Of Rhye
Flick Of The Wrist(★)/Killer Queen/Bring Back That Leroy Brown/Brighton Rock/Stone Cold Crazy(★)/In The Lap Of The Gods…Revisited/Now I’m Here
Bohemian Rhapsody/Sweet Lady(★)/The Prophet’s Song(★)/Lazing On A Sunday Afternoon(★)
Big Surrender/Jailhouse Rock/Stupid Cupid / Be-Bop-A-Lula
※注:「★」印は公式盤『A NIGHT AT THE ODEON: HAMMERSMITH 1975』では聴けない曲。

The main press 2CD is the masterpiece of QUEEN, which has refined the ultra-superb recording of Legend Taper: Dan Lampinski. The studio’s masterpiece is a good bonus for celebrating the live masterpiece. Therefore, we have prepared a limited official video of the historical masterpiece “Opera Night”.
The true identity of this work is the bonus DVD that came with the 30th anniversary edition of “Night of the Opera”. The content is a video work that you can enjoy all the songs of the album with a visual angle. The audio is 12 songs as in the normal album, and you can select normal stereo and 5.1ch surround. And the point is the image attached to the sound. “You’re My Best Friend” and “Bohemian Rhapsody” are basically clips as they are, but they also combine old and new videos into a full-length video work. Songs played live, such as “I’m in Love with My Car” and “Love of My Life,” are combined with stage footage to create a live clip style. It is visualized with a pseudo clip by historical images and a slide show of member photos according to the image of. Of course, even a slide show is a professional production, so the assembly according to the rhythm and song ideas are wonderful, and it is not a shoddy thing like an amateur Youtube movie, but only a lot of things that you can enjoy carefully as a video work.
The video version of “Opera Night”, but the audio commentary is even more delicious. You can listen to the members’ interviews on all the songs, and enjoy the contents with Japanese subtitles. However, there is a slight habit. For example, in “I’m in Love with My Car” Roger, in “’39” Brian talks about the lyrics and how he decided to sing by himself, “Seaside Rendezvous” “Good Company” has roots, “Bohemian Rhapsody”. In “there is a lot of memories about the huge amount of work. However, that is not enough to talk about each song, the situation where the other songs were making the album, the story of the producer, the movie that became the title, the red special, the media, the compatibility between the members, etc. There are many stories that are not directly related to.
Probably this is not a new comment dedicated to the 30th anniversary edition. It seems that he is combining various interviews, including comments from John Deacon who had already retired at the time. Of course, there are lots of interesting things to say. “I wanted to combine the harmony of YES with the powerful elements of ZEPPELIN.” “I thought these two were QUEEN’s strongest weapons, Harmony and Brian’s guitar.” “We were laughing at ourselves.” , The testimonies that can be told by the people themselves are shown one after another on famous songs.

A masterpiece of the masterpieces, the masterpiece “Night of the Opera” among the masterpieces. This is a video work that allows you to “see with eyes” for all the songs. In addition, an audio commentary by the members is also included, so this is one that you can enjoy over and over again. If the main press 2CD is the live masterpiece, “Opera Night” is the studio masterpiece. The most creative and brightest 70’s QUEEN, please enjoy the two works together.

「You’re My Best Friend」「Bohemian Rhapsody」は基本的にクリップそのままですが、他も新旧の映像を組み合わせてフルの映像作品にしている。「I’m in Love with My Car」や「Love of My Life」のようにライヴで演奏された曲はステージ映像を組み合わせてライヴ・クリップ風に仕上げていますし、それが不可能な曲は曲のイメージに沿った歴史的映像による疑似クリップやメンバー写真のスライドショーで映像化。
