Jeff Beck in 2004 celebrated his 60th birthday and won his fourth Grammy Award. An upgrade master appears in the multi-camera video of a special performance that symbolizes such an anniversary year.
“June 24, 2004 London performance” is included in this work. It is an audience shot of the 2 turtle mix taken at the traditional venue “Royal Albert Hall (hereinafter RAH)”. Jeff in 2004 revived his ally Jan Hammer and tag, but the actual live only went on a mini tour in his home country England. The “RAH” performance is the highlight, and it is held twice in a row as a special gig celebrating Jeff’s 60th birthday. This work was filmed at the show on his birthday.
As a special performance that only happens once every 60 years, it has received a lot of attention, and since that time it has produced top-notch audience records. In particular, the multi-camera work that combines two types of images with zero obstructions has been highly acclaimed and has become a staple in gift titles at our store. This work is not a regular release board of such a masterpiece … but an upgrade master. The upgrade covers both video and audio, but the biggest one is audio. Although the conventional master also used three types of recordings, the sound quality was sufficiently high, but this work is even richer and more dynamic. The bass that was thin in the previous version is rich, and the bass groove and dynamism are wonderful. This does not simply mean that the bass is loud. On the contrary, the conventional mid-high range sounded like a limiter, but this new master has plenty of density in the midrange, and the treble extends naturally and comfortably.
In addition, the noiseless luster is also excellent. It seems that there was almost no noise in the first place, but the maniac who made it also carried out elaborate noise processing on top of that. “Cry Me A River”, which had a wonderful performance but had a cracking sound, is extremely smooth and beautifully drawn like velvet.
It’s been a long time with only the audio, but the image quality has also been upgraded. It seems that skillful editing techniques such as switching of 2 camera MIX have not been touched, but obviously the master direct image quality is even clearer. It’s not as big a difference as the audio, but when you play it side by side with the previous version on a PC, you’ll be fascinated by the fine detail that quickly wipes away the blurring of the details.
A special performance to celebrate the 60th birthday is drawn with such upgraded quality. Let’s organize the set here.

● 70’s/80’s (9 songs)
・Wired: Goodbye Pork Pie Hat / Blue Wind / Led Boots
・Other: Freeway Jam/Star Cycle/You Never Know/Big Block/Where Were You/People Get Ready
●After the 90’s (9 songs)
・Who Else! : Angel (footsteps) / Even Odds / Brush With the Blues
・You Had It Coming: Roy’s Toy/Nadia/Loose Cannon/Rollin’ and Tumblin’
・Other: Blanket / Cry Me A River
● Others (6 songs)
・Jan Hammer: Resolution/Nothing But Love/Voyage Home
・Others: Stratus/Cissy Strut/A Day In The Life

… and it looks like this. In addition to his sworn friend Jan, the Mondesi brothers acted as the rhythm team, and Nancy Soleil, who also participated in “JEFF” on “Cry Me A River”, and Imogen Heap on “Blanket” and “Rollin’ And Tumblin'” in the middle. I am joining.
“People Get Ready” is also the highlight of the big lass. Not only is Imogen back, but so is Ronnie Wood! For a while, I sat at Yang’s feet and enjoyed the song, but towards the end, I also participated in the performance. (Nancy reappears, but she doesn’t sing and has fun on stage).
The masterpiece video that has been whispered as “2004’s masterpiece” has been upgraded to the highest peak. If he were alive, Jeff Beck would have realized an 80-year-old birthday gig next year. I regret again how wonderful the show was because I did not lose my sense of active duty until the very end. This work is a superb gem that calms down such feelings. Please fully enjoy this work that has become more glossy and beautiful.

★ Super-superb audience shot of 60th birthday “Royal Albert Hall performance on June 24, 2004”. It is a multi-edited work that utilizes two cameras, and both are superb views with no obstructions, and the sense of switching is outstanding. Furthermore, the image quality and sound quality have been improved compared to the conventional master, and the voice in particular has been replaced with a super-superb separate recording. The bass, which was a little thin in the past, is rich, and the noiseless glossiness is like FM broadcasting. In addition to Jan Hammer, who is fully participating, gorgeous guests such as Nancy Soleil, Imogen Heap, and Ron Wood can also enjoy a delicious anniversary gig.
