The DVD label “Black Lodge” series has appeared in the Necromancer series, which reissues the valuable titles of handmade labels for collectors, which were distributed only in a small part, from the official master who took over officially. Rare titles are re-appearing at affordable prices with reissue emblems.
This is a professional shot live video of Jan Garbarek, a famous saxophone player representing ECM. It was a live performance in Sweden, the home of ECM in 1987, and it was a very quaint venue. Eberhard Weber and Nana Vasconcelos, who are familiar with each other in the ECM session, also participated. The bonus track contains valuable 1974 footage, and you can’t miss the participation of ECM’s key drummer Jon Christensen on the piano Bobo Stenson.

ECMを代表する名サキソフォン・プレーヤー、ヤン・ガルバレクのプロ・ショット・ライヴ映像です。1987年ECMの本場北欧スウェーデンでのライヴで、なかなか趣のある会場です。ECMのセッションでもお互い熟知した仲であるエバーハルト・ウェバーとナナ・ヴァスコンセロスも参加。ボーナス・トラックには貴重な1974年の映像が収録されており、こちらはピアノのボボ・ステンソンにECMの重要ドラマー、ヨン・クリステンセンの参加が見逃せません。
