GUNS N ‘ROSES in 1991 when Izzy Stradlin was still enrolled while creating “USE YOUR ILLUSION”. The symbolic sound board album has updated the longest and highest peak (significantly). Appeared in permanent preservation press 2CD.
Engraved in such a work is “Noblesville performance on May 29, 1991”. It is a stereo sound board recording that captures the whole picture. The point of this work is “the full sound board of USE YOUR ILLUSION Tour where Izzy is still there”. First of all, let’s reorganize the flow when the turbulent member change started and check the position of the show.

This is 1990/1991 GUNS N ‘ROSES. With Dizzy & Matt, they restarted with “ROCK IN RIO II” and started a full-scale tour in spring. The Ritz performance recorded in the Super Deluxe Edition of “USE YOUR ILLUSION I & II” was a warm-up gig, but the Noblesville performance of this work was the 4th concert of “North America # 1” two weeks later. .
This show is also known for the fact that TV broadcast pro shots were left, but this work is not that soundboard sound …. Although the video version is familiar with our “INDIANA 1991”, even if the video is good, the sound is monaural and cloudy, and it feels like a TV broadcast. This work is not so, but the latest master brought by its own route. An official-class sound board that is not only stereo but also has high quality that cannot be compared. That is a superb item that is comparable to the genuine official “LIVE IN NEW YORK”.
Moreover, it is long. Before the performance and between songs are long by a few seconds, in addition to that, member introductions and Matt’s drum solo are also recorded. As a matter of fact, recently, a professional shot that synchronized long audio on a certain video site has been uploaded, but this work is completely recorded until the part after the end of “It’s So Easy” that was cut there as well. As a result, it is about 7 minutes longer than “INDIANA 1991” and has updated the longest record ever.
Such an upgrade master draws a delicious full show with rare songs only in 1991. Let’s organize it while comparing it with the latest official work “LIVE IN NEW YORK”, which has been cited several times.

It is a bold set centered on “USE YOUR ILLUSION I & II” that has not been released yet, and both “Dust N’ Bones” and “14 Years” where Izzy serves as the main vocal are also shown. In addition, there are plenty of rare songs that will not be played in later years, especially “Right Next Door To Hell” is a limited song only before the album release. Even “14 Years” was a pre-release phantom song for a long time until I played it a few times in 2012.
And the performance that spells out such a repertoire is the best. The set with a large amount of new songs is furiously fresh, and this day is the world premiere for the famous song “November Rain”. Of course, overall, the engine has warmed up as the full-scale tour began, and it is not as unfamiliar as the warm-up “LIVE IN NEW YORK”. And above all, it’s with Izzy. It is a valuable live album that will give you the “USE YOUR ILLUSION” number with plenty of solid “original GNR” likeness without horns.
It is a new excavation master that has the longest official quality and the longest ever in history. Along with “LIVE IN NEW YORK”, which was the centerpiece of the official deluxe edition … No, it is a decision board that can transcend. Please fully enjoy the permanent preservation press 2CD.

これが1990年／1991年のGUNS N’ ROSES。ディジー＆マットを迎えた彼らは“ROCK IN RIO II”で再始動し、春から本格的なツアーを開始。『USE YOUR ILLUSION I&II』のスーパーデラックス・エディションに収録されたリッツ公演はウォームアップ・ギグでしたが、本作のノーブルズビル公演はその２週間後にあたる「北米#1」４公演目のコンサートでした。
このショウはTV放送プロショットが残された事でも知られるわけですが、本作はそのサウンドボード音声……ではない。映像篇は当店の『INDIANA 1991』でもお馴染みなものの、映像は良くても音声はモノラルで曇っており、いかにもTV放送といった感じのスカスカしていました。本作はそうではなく、独自ルートでもたらされた最新マスター。ステレオなだけでなく比較ならないほどクオリティが高いオフィシャル級サウンドボード。それこそ、正真正銘オフィシャルな『LIVE IN NEW YORK』と並べても遜色ない極上品なのです。
しかも、長い。開演前や曲間が数秒ずつ長いですが、それ以外にもメンバー紹介やマットのドラムソロも収録している。実のところ、最近になって某動画サイトに長尺音声をシンクロさせたプロショットもアップされていますが、本作はそこでもカットされていた「It’s So Easy」終了後のパートまで完全収録。結果として『INDIANA 1991』よりも約７分も長く、史上最長を更新しているのです。
そんなアップグレード・マスターで画かれるのは、1991年だからこそのレア曲も美味しいフルショウ。何度か引き合いに出している直近の公式作『LIVE IN NEW YORK』と比較しながら整理してみましょう。

……と、このようになっています。まだリリースされていない『USE YOUR ILLUSION I&II』を軸にした大胆なセットで、イジーがメイン・ヴォーカルを務める「Dust N’ Bones」「14 Years」も両方披露している。他にも後年には演奏しなくなるレア曲もたっぷり披露されており、特に「Right Next Door To Hell」はアルバム発売前だけの限定曲。「14 Years」にしても、2012年に数回演奏するまで長らくアルバム発売前の幻曲でした。
そして、そんなレパートリーを綴るパフォーマンスが最高。新曲も大量投入したセットは猛烈にフレッシュで、名曲「November Rain」に至っては、この日が全世界初演だったりします。もちろん、全体的には本格ツアーが始まったことでエンジンも暖まってきていて、ウォームアップだった『LIVE IN NEW YORK』ほど不慣れでもない。そして何より、イジー入り。ホーンなどもなくソリッド「本来のGNR」らしさたっぷりに『USE YOUR ILLUSION』ナンバーをブチかましてくれる貴重なライヴアルバムなのです。
