この公演の魅力は、コロナ禍にもかかわらず元気なクラプトンの姿が観られるということのみならず、スティーヴ・ガッド＆ソニー・エモリーという名手のツインドラムをバックに、バリバリの現役に相応しい弾き捲るステージを堪能できることです。こんな面子のツインドラムなんて、日本では観ることは叶いません。まさに「充実のステージ」ということに尽きます。I Shot The Sheriffの後奏のソロでは、全盛期のプレイと遜色のない弾き捲り、鋭いフレーズの畳み掛けがあります。オーディエンスもこの出来栄えには感動したようで、大喝采です。前半のハイライトは、クラプトンの意図どおりここにあります。後半は王道の有名曲パレードです。何と言っても、かなりのエネルギーを要するドミノスナンバーGot to Get Better in a Little Whileをプレイしていることでも充実ぶりが分かります。この曲中盤での二人のドラマーのソロバトルは最大の見どころと言ってもいいでしょう。オーディエンスも大盛り上がりです。Cocaineでのソロでは、きっちりワウワウを踏んでくれます。アンコールには地元出身のギタリストでクラプトンの親友であり、このツアーのオープニングアクトを務めたジミー・ヴォーンが飛入りし、ソロを披露しています。これまた贅沢！最後のメンバー勢揃いでのお辞儀まで収録しています。素晴らしい公演を観た気分にさせてくれる優れた映像です。今までこのツアーの映像はおろか、オーディオファイル＆ディスクさえもリリースされたことはありませんでしたので、ファンは必見の内容です。この現役バリバリの「充実クラプトン」には、きっと感じられるところがあるでしょう。もうすぐまたこの姿を目にすることができるのです！
