DIO who has returned to the world of royal road fantasy, Yngwie of the phantom lineup that welcomed Jorn Lande, DORO also called “female version Ronnie”. Introducing a big live set where all the song gods of style metal meet.
The engraving on this work is “November 25, 2000 Denver performance”. It is a superb audience recording that completely recorded 3 groups of appearances. DIO was running on the heavy route in the 90’s, but in 2000 he recalled Craig Goldy and returned to the melodic & romantic route. In the North American REC of “MAGICA TOUR”, Yngwie and DORO were partly welcomed as special guests, and a joint tour by three groups was realized. This work is a 4-disc set that vacuum-packs the site.
Moreover, this work is a refinement of the finest recording with the same taper by further meticulous mastering. The original sound was excavated from the Power Gate label as “ALL WE ARE”, but the sound is just the best. I don’t mistake it for a sound board because I feel the (faint) Odin-like sound of the snare, but there is no doubt that it was distributed as a sound board in the 1980s. Anyway, it’s close and close. There is no sense of distance on the guitar or vocals, and the thick core is screwed directly into the brain. The bass, which tends to be a weak point in the guest recording, is also clear, and it is the best time to forget that it is an audience recording when listening.
And this work further brushes up the original sound. Originally it was a type with a strong core coated with a thick sound, but this work organizes that sound. The contours and fine details are clearly felt while maintaining the lustrous beauty, and the silent darkness is even deeper. Originally, it has been reborn as a vivid sound that brings out the possibility of recording like a sound board as much as possible. It’s amazing because such a sound goes through 3 sets of full shows. Now, let’s introduce each band individually.

[DISC 1: DORO in the “CALLING THE WILD” era when metal returned] First of all, DORO led by Doro Peche, who was called “Women’s Ronnie”, appeared first. She was also a pop rock line in the 90’s, but returned to the world of heavy metal with her masterpiece “CALLING THE WILD”. She took the tour in response to DIO, who also returned to origin.
Because of the first move, the time was short, about 31 minutes, but this is all the songs of the day. Metallic masterpieces are packed there, and the set is centered on WARLOCK’s masterpiece “TRIUMPH AND AGONY” and the new work “CALLING THE WILD” that returns to the origin. Witches “only. She slams the metal side of Doro thoroughly in quick succession.
Moreover, her steel will is clearly felt from her singing voice. Powerful vocalization called “Ronnie of female voice” and free vibrato with Kobusi are fully opened. You can enjoy the splendid singing voice that the expression “majestic” that should not be said fits perfectly with your eyes.

[DISC 2: The phantom YNGWIE MALMSTEEN welcoming Jorn] Following “Women’s voice Ronnie” is Yngwie Malmsteen sung by Jorn Lande, who was also regarded as “the successor to Ronnie”. Jorn seemed to be the strongest and most suitable in his career with various singers, but unfortunately he broke up without leaving a work. You can experience such a phantom era show with the best sound.
In fact, the singing voice is super strong. Speaking of Jorn, he was a singer of HEAVEN & HELL in “HIGH VOLTAGE 2010” in memory of Ronnie, and was even told by Tony Iommi to “live in Ronnie”. From the listener’s point of view, it doesn’t look like Ronnie so much, but rather the image of THE SNAKES’s “Snakeri-san of Coverdale” is strong, but it was certain that the powerful and free song was close to Ronnie. ..
The combination of Jorn and Yngwie is exactly the utopia of style neo-classical metal. On the stage of about 52 minutes, Jorn’s songs are only 4 songs (Mottainai …) of “Rising Force”, “Crucify”, “Masquerade” and “I’ll See The Light Tonight”, but one of them One song gives a simulated experience of “What if Ronnie and Coverdale were teamed up by Yngwie?” It would be a show where the regrets of 20 years ago would be revived if he took more steps and made studio works.

[DISC 3-4: DIO full of rare songs] It is a genuine and genuine legend to act as a dignified headliner with such a “female voice version” and “successor”. This is DIO led by Ronnie James Dio. It was the best sound so far, but the main act sounds good as expected. The audience-like feeling of the snare has been dispelled, and it has evolved into a superb sound with “super” like a sound board.
And that full show is amazing. At that time, the through performance of “MAGICA” (it is not a complete reproduction because “Turn to Stone” and “Otherworld” are omitted) was the highlight, but you can enjoy it firmly in this work as well. Other songs are even more delicious. The other day, I just introduced the best sound board “HOLLYWOOD 2000 (Shades 1167)”, but that masterpiece also had only one encore song, and it was not a full show. On the other hand, this work is a complete recording from the start to the end. Here, let’s organize the DIO set as well.

As mentioned above, it is a superb live set that completely recorded all 3 groups over 3 hours and 15 minutes. In his later years, Ronnie couldn’t hide his decline, but in this work, his beautiful voice is no different from his heyday. You can also enjoy the phantom Jorn Lande & Yngwie and the precious DORO recording itself. It’s a 4-disc set that is too delicious to fully experience a night full of passionate singers.
