これがキャリア最大を誇る“ADRENALIZE Tour”の全体像。５年ぶりに実現した日本公演も思い出深いところですが、本作のストックホルム公演はその１ヶ月半前。「欧州#2」の初日にあたるコンサートでした。
そんなショウを真空パックした本作は、まさに極上の銘品。とにかく極太にして美麗。いわゆる「まるでサウンドボード」と呼ばれるタイプでして、距離感のない芯が目の前に迫り、それに伴ってディテールも克明。よく聴けばホール鳴りも吸い込んではいるのですが、それが曇りや濁りになっておらず、ダイナミズムとDEF LEPPARDらしい厚みを生み出してもいる。パッと聴いた感じではFM放送っぽい「均整の美」を感じさせつつ、聴き込むほどに、それが「オーディエンスならではの美」でもある事に気づかされる……そんな感じの名録音なのです。
