A shocking new excavation full pro shot appears! “Emergency release decision!!”
Such a shocking video was filmed on “November 20, 1983 Sydney performance”. It is the multi-camera pro shot. At that time, Bowie was in the midst of the glorious “SERIOUS MOONLIGHT Tour”, which had the longest career, the largest scale, and the most huge success. This is the sound of David Bowie in 1983. The official video “SERIOUS MOONLIGHT” was recorded in Vancouver, Canada, but this work is about two months later. It was the 8th performance of the southern hemisphere “Oceania” leg, which is the opposite of the earth.
A multi-camera pro shot that had never been known before came out of such a show. It is a beta master that seems to be an outflow, but there is white line noise and tape twist in the early stage because the tape has deteriorated. Therefore, although it is hard to say that it is “official grade”, the freshness itself is the best. No discoloration/fading due to dubbing deterioration was observed, and neither distortion nor bleeding occurred. Moreover, the noise gradually subsides, and it hardly occurs by the time the 4th song “Golden Years” is reached. It will be as vivid as if it was broadcasting just now.
In addition to the visual beauty, the length transcends even the official. The official video “SERIOUS MOONLIGHT” was only the main set, but this work is completely recorded until the encore. Moreover, it’s not just that there are a lot of songs. The official video “SERIOUS MOONLIGHT” highlighted the beauty of the indoor venue, but it also had the feeling of being made like a PV. On the other hand, this work is a stadium venue that is wide open without a ceiling. The sense of openness and the spectacle of the large crowd are tremendous, and the vividness that seems to be outflow is also the opposite of “SERIOUS MOONLIGHT”.

そんなショウから飛び出してきたのは、これまで存在も知られていなかったマルチカメラ・プロショット。流出と思しきベータ・マスターなのですが、テープに劣化があるのか序盤では白線ノイズやテープヨレもある。そのため「オフィシャル級」とは言いがたいものの、鮮度そのものは極上。ダビング劣化による変色／退色などは見当たらず、歪みも滲みも起こしていない。しかもノイズも徐々に収まっていき、４曲目「Golden Years」に至る頃にはほとんど発生しない。まるでたった今放送しているかのような鮮やかさになるのです。
