It’s been a year since Bob Dylan resumed his tour due to the corona wreck last year, but he, who had been only in the United States so far, finally made it to Europe. It’s like celebrating the first anniversary of the resumption of the tour.
Not only the sound source, but also many photos of the stage have already been circulated, but the virile appearance of an artist who is over 80 years old has delighted enthusiasts all over the world.
The European tour resumed by Dylan, who doesn’t know how to stop, started in Oslo on September 25th, but this time he released Copenhagen on the 30th, his fourth performance.
Speaking of Dylan’s European tour, the creation of high-quality audience recordings has long been regarded as an anchor stone among enthusiasts, and this time’s Copenhagen actually has excellent sound quality. Not only is the sound image very on, but the texture with depth is also excellent.
With such quality, it was possible to release a press board with ease, but immediately after the live started, the voice of the nearby audience was heard in some songs, so the CD-R release of the gut was released. It’s up to you.
However, even after deducting that, the quality was really excellent, so it would be a waste to let it sleep. Besides, if it becomes the best audience from Dylan’s latest tour, it will not be possible not to release it.
The basic line of the set list follows this year’s pattern, but it should be noted that “That Old Magic”, which played a repertoire revival at the end of the summer US tour, finally won a regular seat on this tour. thing.
For a while after the standard cover collection “FALLEN ANGELS” was released, it was a song that I liked to play, but it has been a repertoire for a long time since the set was dropped in 2018. It suddenly revived at the end of the United States.
The 2022 version also follows the album version and the conventional live arrangement, but I think this feeling is rather easy for Dylan to sing now. He sings lively with a light performance in the background. It is thanks to this tour that he has gained a regular seat.
This year’s stage was originally a mix of light arrangements and singing repertoires, but Dylan’s classic “To Be Alone With You”, which is played every night, is more than the beginning of this year’s tour. It has evolved into a light arrangement, and it is only Dylan’s live that such a change is born.
Listening to the releases that have come out of the UXBRIDGE label since the tour resumed last year, it’s hard to believe that Dylan hasn’t had a single bad day considering his age. Great condition. I played the piano to my heart’s content from the opening, and I can’t help but be surprised by the powerful singing voice throughout the live.

そんな歩みを止めることを知らないディランが再開させたヨーロッパ・ツアーは9月25日のオスロからスタートしていますが、今回は四公演めとなる30日のコペンハーゲンをリリース。
ディランのヨーロッパ・ツアーといえば基本クオリティの高いオーディエンス録音が生み出されるのが古くからマニア間の碇石とされていて、今回のコペンハーゲンも実際に素晴らしい音質。非常にオンな音像はもちろん、深みのある質感も絶品。
これほどのクオリティなら余裕でプレス盤リリースすら可能なレベルだったのですが、ライブ開始直後、さらにはいくつかの曲で近くの観客の喋り声が入ってしまったことから断腸のCD-Rリリースとなった次第です。
とはいえ、それを差し引いても実に素晴らしいクオリティであったことから眠らせておくにはあまりにもったいない。それにディラン最新ツアーからの極上オーディエンスとなればリリースしない訳にはいかないでしょう。
セットリストの基本線は今年のパターンを踏襲したものなのですが、注目すべきは夏のアメリカ・ツアー終盤においてレパートリー復活を果たした「That Old Magic」が今回のツアーにおいて遂にレギュラーの座を獲得したこと。
スタンダード・カバー集「FALLEN ANGELS」がリリースされてからしばらくは好んで演奏されていた曲ですが、2018年にセット落ちして久しいレパートリーでした。それが先のアメリカ終盤において突如復活。
そんな2022年版もアルバム・バージョンや従来のライブ・アレンジを踏襲したものですが、今のディランにはこの感じがむしろ歌いやすいのでしょう。軽やかな演奏をバックにいきいきと歌い上げてくれます。おかげで今回のツアーからレギュラーの座を獲得したのだと。
今年のステージは元々が軽快なアレンジと歌い込み系レパートリーが入り混じった構成でしたが、そんな中で毎晩演奏されているディラン・クラシック「To Be Alone With You」などは今年のツアー開始当初よりも軽快なアレンジへと進化しており、そうした変化が生まれるのもディランのライブならでは。
昨年のツアー再開後UXBRIDGEレーベルから生み出されてきたリリースを聞いていると、どれ一つとしてディランが不調な日がないことは彼の年齢を考えると信じられないばかりですが、今回もまた彼は絶好調。オープニングから思う存分ピアノを弾いていますし、何と言ってもライブ全体を通しての力強い歌声には驚きを禁じえません。
文字通り前進を続けるディランがコロナ禍で遂に実現させた最新ヨーロッパ・ツアーから早くも極上オーディエンス・アルバムが登場です！
