The largest gravity singularity Ian Guillain era in SAB BATH history. The super-superior & most important stereo sound board album which can study the top is a reprint.
Two legendary soundboards are included in this work. One is a demo tape of the back of the great album “BORN AGAIN”, and the other is a super best live album of “November 4, 1983 Wooster Performance”. While both are super representative sound sources that are said to be “First of all if you say Guillan SAB BATH”, the two major titles are now out of print. It is a two-disc set that sets the highest peak version as luxury. Let’s introduce each one individually.
This work is digitized from the actual “manner tape” with the longest scale and polished with careful mastering. It is the highest peak version recorded in “THE MANOR TAPES: BORN AGAIN UNMIXED DEMOS” released in 2009, and the sound is overwhelming. Of course, the biggest point of this demo is the temporary mix and freshness that is different from the official, and there is no point in making it extremely. The mastering of this work is not so unsophisticated, but it emphasizes the “performance” sucked into the cassette. In other words, it is an exact reproduction of the “sound that was playing in the studio”.
In fact, it is totally different from the original cassette, which has a clear crystal clear air. What’s more, it’s quite different from the official take that was gorgeously decorated with effects, and it’s as if the band is playing in front of you … yes, in the brain. That’s the ultra-realistic sound of Guillain SAB BATH’s studio live album.
Moreover, the mix and some performances themselves are different from the official version. The guitar phrase is different from the first song “Hot Line”, and “Keep It Warm” with emphasized Guillain’s shout, long “Stonehenge”, “Trashed” in the middle of vocal insertion, lyrics and melody are different. You can enjoy “BORN AGAIN” that has a different expression than the official version, such as “Zero The Hero”, “Born Again” starting from the intro to the entire band, and so on. [Disc 2: The longest and highest soundboard live of Guillain era] It is the highest peak live album that follows such a shock “manner tape”. It is the top stereo sound board recording of “November 4, 1983 Wooster performance”. This show is broadcast on WESTWOOD ONE’s specialty program “CAPTURED LIVE!”, And is a large standard among the classics that has produced numerous air checks that have been released innumerably. This work is the highest peak version that wiped out the group that has already been released. It is the highest peak that has been finely digitized from an unused broadcast master disk excavated at about the same time as “manner tape” and further polished through the same careful mastering as disc 1. As a matter of fact, recently, a new original copy has also appeared on the net, but the quality is much better than this one. This work is so glossy and iron wall that it seems stupid to compare. It is proved by retrofitting how the original disc used for this work was an excellent thing.
And not only the sound but also the content is the top of Guillain SABBATH. Speaking of live in Guillain era, the sound board of Reading Festival is included in the official deluxe edition, but this work is overwhelmingly longer than that. Above, 4 kinds. There are three types other than the official Redding Fess, and in this shop you can get a press CD for “EUROLINE” and this work. And this work is the longest among them and the sound is excellent. While it is a full official sound, you can also enjoy “Supertzar”, “Children Of The Grave”, “Heaven And Hell” and a guitar solo that you can not hear on the official disc. Furthermore, this work is also updating the longest in history. The highest peak so far was our “CAPTURED ALIVE: DEFINITIVE EDITION”, but while this work has the same quality, the DJ part of the program ending is also completely recorded. In the previous release it was finished as soon as the live corner is over, but in this work it is recorded to the end announcement of the program to the maximum. It is also a radio album that reproduces the rock scene at that time exactly at home.
Ian Guillain BLACK SAB BATH … It was a moment of rare miracle. 本作に収められている伝説的サウンドボードは２種。１つは裏の大名盤『BORN AGAIN』のデモテープ、もう１つは「1983年11月４日ウースター公演」の超極上ライヴアルバムです。いずれも「ギランSABBATHと言ったらまずはコレ」と言われる超代表音源ながら、現在は廃盤久しい２大名盤。その最高峰版を贅沢にセットした２枚組なのです。それでは、それぞれ個別にご紹介していきましょう。
【ディスク１：BORN AGAIN流出デモの最高峰クオリティ版】
ディスク１は名盤『BORN AGAIN』が製作された“マナー・スタジオ”から流出したデモ。今から15年ほど前に発掘され、SABBATHブート史上最大のセンセーションを巻き起こしました。何しろ『BORN AGAIN』はSABBATH随一の異色作。しかも、イアン・ギランもトニー・アイオミも最終盤のミックスに納得ができず「いつの間にか変えられてしまった」「スタジオではもっと良い音だった」「デモをみんなに聴かせたい」と口々に語ってきた。その音が現実に出てきたのです。さらに、未発表曲「The Fallen」の存在も大きかった。現在ではデラックス・エディションのボーナス・トラックとして公式化されましたが、世界が初めて知ったのは“マナー・テープ”が最初だったのです。
本作は、そんな“マナー・テープ”現物から最長尺でデジタル化し、細心マスタリングで磨き上げたもの。2009年にリリースされた『THE MANOR TAPES: BORN AGAIN UNMIXED DEMOS』に収録された最高峰バージョンで、そのサウンドは圧倒的。もちろん、このデモ最大のポイントはオフィシャルとは異なる仮ミックスや生々しさにあり、極端に作り込んでは意味がない。本作のマスタリングはそうした無粋なものではなく、あくまでカセットに吸い込まれた“演奏”を際立たせるもの。言い換えれば、“スタジオ内で鳴っていた音”を正確に再現したものなのです。
実際、オリジナル・カセットのくぐもったサウンドとはまるで違い、クリスタル・クリアに透き通った空気感が絶大。しかも、エフェクト類で豪華に飾り立てられた公式テイクともまったく異なり、バンドが目の前で……いえ、脳内で演奏しているかのよう。それこそ、ギランSABBATHのスタジオライヴ・アルバムのような超リアル・サウンドなのです。
しかも、ミックスや一部の演奏自体もオフィシャル版とは違う。１曲目の「Hot Line」からギター・フレーズが異なりますし、ギランのシャウトが一層強調された「Keep It Warm」、長尺な「Stonehenge」、ヴォーカル入れ途中の「Trashed」、歌詞やメロディまで違う「Zero The Hero」、イントロからバンド全体で始まる「Born Again」等々など、公式版とは表情の違った『BORN AGAIN』が楽しめるのです。
【ディスク２：ギラン時代の最長・最高峰サウンドボードライヴ】
そんな衝撃の“マナー・テープ”に続くのは、最高峰ライヴアルバム。「1983年11月４日ウースター公演」の頂点ステレオ・サウンドボード録音です。このショウはWESTWOOD ONEの名物番組“CAPTURED LIVE!”で放送され、数々のエアチェックが無数の既発を生んできた定番中の大定番です。本作は、そんな既発群を一掃した最高峰版。“マナー・テープ”とほぼ同時期に発掘された未使用の放送原盤から精緻にデジタル化され、さらにディスク１と同様の細心マスタリングを経て磨き上げられた最高峰なのです。実のところ、最近になって新たな原盤起こしもネットに登場しているのですが、クオリティは本作の方が遙かに上。比べるのもバカらしくなるほど本作の方が艶やかで鉄壁。いかに本作に使用された原盤が特上なものだったのか、後付けでも証明されているのです。
そして、サウンドだけでなく内容もギランSABBATHの頂点。ギラン時代のライヴと言えば、公式デラックス・エディションにもレディング・フェスティバルのサウンドボードが収録されていますが、本作はそれよりも圧倒的に長いのです。良い機会ですので、ここでギランSABBATHが残したサウンドボード音源を確認してみましょう。

以上、４種。公式化されたレディング・フェス以外に３種があり、当店では『EUROLINE』と本作でプレスCDが手に入るわけです。そして、その中で最も長く、サウンドも優れているのが本作。完全公式級サウンドでありつつ、オフィシャル盤では聴けない「Supertzar」「Children Of The Grave」「Heaven And Hell」やギターソロも楽しめるのです。さらに、本作は史上最長を更新してもいる。これまでの最高峰は当店の『CAPTURED ALIVE: DEFINITIVE EDITION』だったわけですが、本作は同等のクオリティでありながら、さらに番組エンディングのDJパートも完全収録。既発ではライヴコーナーが終わるとすぐに終了していましたが、本作では番組の終了アナウンスまで最大限に収録。当時のロックシーンがそっくり自宅に再現されるラジオ・アルバムでもあるのです。

This press 2CD is the top soundboard album of the Ian Guillain era paired with the official deluxe edition. Having worked on the sound board, it is human work to want to make professional shots as well. Therefore, we prepared a video collection for that as a bonus.
Such a work is a complete pro shot of the few Ian Guillain era. It is a DVDR that includes a promo clip and live pro shot from the “BORN AGAIN” era, and two songs that have been played with Tony Iomimi again later. Let’s introduce each in detail.
Moreover, all of them are the highest peak version. “Trashed (original)” “Zero The Hero” uses the master before the broadcast, “Trashed (restricted version)” also adopted the best version of digital rebroadcast. In fact, the quality is excellent. It is not a strange video beauty even if it is recorded as it is on the official DVD. As a matter of fact, the original version has been released as a compilation laser disc, but this one is a version even more than that. [Live pro shot of BORN AGAIN era] The following is a live picture of the precious Guillain SAB BATH. It is a multi-camera pro shot taken on “January 14, 1984 Hollywood”. This day was not a regular concert, but a special performance for the famous TV program “ROCK PALACE”. It is an image famous as the only “live pro shot” in the Guillain era, and this work is its highest peak master. As a matter of fact, it drops 2 ranks compared to the above promo clip, but (currently) no more versions have been excavated.
What is even more sad is voice. The video is definitely live, but this program is basically mime. SAB BATH also synchronizes the studio take. However, the precious “Moving Guillan SAB BATH” is extremely valuable. It is also a multi-camera pro shot. It is a video that mania from all over the world has been searching for the best version with blood-eye since that time, and this film is the latest high-end version. [Promo clip of re-collaboration era] The pro shot of “BORN AGAIN” era is all of the above 4 songs (5 takes). There is no more (by the way, audience shots can be completed with the gift DVDR “MONTREAL 1983”). However, the story changes after that. There are two more pro shots played again by Aiomi and Giran. This work has both bonus recordings.
The first is the 1989 charity project “ROCK AID ARMENIA”. The Armenia earthquake in December 1988 was the origin of this project. It was a huge disaster with 25,000 dead and 400,000 evacuees, but the heavyweights of the lock world stood up to save the victims. Not only this project, the 80’s music world is full of charity projects. BAND AID (1984) to save Ethiopian hunger, USA FOR AFRICA (1985) that became a big hit of “We Are The Wolrd”, charity concert LIVE AID (20) with 20 surnames largest, HR / HM HEAR ‘N AID (1986), MOSCOW MUSIC PEACE FESTIVAL etc that supported the drug eradication movement of the former Soviet Union, etc. … It was a project that appeared in the final edition of such a charity boom. The highlight of this project is the “Smoke On The Water” cover of DEEP PURPLE, co-starred by luxury musicians. Not only Guillain & Iomi, but also Roger Taylor & Chris Squire, Paul Rogers, Brian May and Dave Gilmore, Richie Blackmore, and more. You can enjoy the feast of British rock heroes in professional shots.
And the last thing recorded is the charity “WhoCares” realized on the 25th anniversary of “ROCK AID ARMENIA”. The project was led by Guillain & Iomi, and it was a feast of luxurious members in which John Lord, Nico McBlain, Jason Newstead, and HIM’s Linde participated in addition to the two males. “ROCK AID ARMENIA” was a remake of “Smoke On The Water”, but at this time the original new songs “Out Of My Mind” and “Holy Water” were written, of which “Out Of My Mind” also produced a crop. This work has recorded the video clip. Only the clips in recent years are super beautiful, but the more delicious one is the song itself. In “Smoke On The Water,” Iomimi, who was only “one of many other people,” is completely here. It is a Guillain version of “FUSED”, “THE DEVIL YOU KNOW” and “13”, and you can enjoy the 21st century version of “BORN AGAIN” with the official quality.
Two promo clips played back together with pro shots from the “BORN AGAIN” era with only four songs and five takes. It is one that contains all the pro shots that Ian Ghiran & Tony Io Mi put on the sound. In addition to the main press 2CD assembled with the Guillain era top sound board, please also collect the highest peak work of the video edition by all means.
本編プレス２CDは、公式デラックス・エディションと対を成すイアン・ギラン時代の頂点サウンドボード・アルバムです。サウンドボードを極めた以上は、プロショットも極めたいと思うのは人の業。そこで、そのための映像集をボーナスにご用意しました。
そんな本作は、数少ないイアン・ギラン時代のプロショットをコンプリートしたもの。『BORN AGAIN』時代のプロモ・クリップとライヴ・プロショット、さらに後年になってトニー・アイオミと再共演した２曲を総ざらいしたDVDRです。それぞれ詳しくご紹介していきましょう。
【BORN AGAIN時代のプロモ・クリップ】
まず登場するのは『BORN AGAIN』時代に製作されたプロモ・クリップ。「Trashed」と「Zero The Hero」です。ただし「Trashed」は映像が規制に引っかかったためにオリジナル版と放送版の２種が製作されました。その違いは、主に女性。このクリップは車の事故を起こした主人公がゾンビに襲われるものですが、オリジナル・クリップでは露出の高い艶めかしい女性ゾンビが大量に出演していた。その素肌が自主規制に引っかかったのか、放送版では男ゾンビだらけになっていました。放送版もギランSABBATHのライヴ映像が多いので痛し痒しなのですが、本作はその両者を含めた２曲・３バージョンをすべてコンプリートしています。
しかも、そのどれもが最高峰バージョン。「Trashed（オリジナル）」「Zero The Hero」は放送前のマスターを使用しており、「Trashed（規制版）」もデジタル再放送のベスト・バージョンを採用している。実際、そのクオリティは絶品。どれも公式DVDにそのまま収録してもおかしくない映像美。実のところ、オリジナル版はコンピレーションのレーザーディスクとしてもリリースされた事があるのですが、本作はそれさえ上回るバージョンなのです。
【BORN AGAIN時代のライヴ・プロショット】
続くは、貴重極まるギランSABBATHのライヴ映像。「1984年１月14日ハリウッド」で撮影されたマルチカメラ・プロショットです。この日は通常のコンサートではなく、名物TV番組“ROCK PALACE”出演のための特別パフォーマンスでした。ギラン時代唯一の“生プロショット”として有名な映像であり、本作はその最高峰マスターです。実のところ、上記のプロモ・クリップに比べると２ランクを落ちるのですが、（現在のところ）これ以上のバージョンは発掘されていません。
さらに惜しいのは音声。映像は間違いなく本生なのですが、この番組はマイムが基本。SABBATHもスタジオ・テイクをシンクロさせているのです。とは言え、貴重極まる“動くギランSABBATH”。それもマルチカメラ・プロショット。当時から世界中のマニアが血眼でベスト・バージョンを探し続けてきた映像であり、本作はその最新・最高峰版なのです。
【再共演時代のプロモ・クリップ】
『BORN AGAIN』時代のプロショットは上記の４曲（５テイク）ですべて。それ以上はありません（ちなみにオーディエンス・ショットはギフトDVDR『MONTREAL 1983』でコンプリートできます）。しかし、その後となると話は変わる。アイオミとギランが再共演したプロショットはあと２曲ある。本作は、その両方もボーナス収録しています。
その１つめは1989年のチャリティ・プロジェクト“ROCK AID ARMENIA”。このプロジェクトの発端となったのは1988年12月のアルメニア地震。死者２万5000人、避難者40万人という大災害となったわけですが、その被災者救済のためにロック界の重鎮たちが立ち上がったわけです。このプロジェクトに限らず、80年代の音楽界はチャリティ企画が花盛り。エチオピア飢饉を救うためのBAND AID（1984年）、「We Are The Wolrd」の一大ヒットとなったUSA FOR AFRICA（1985年）、20姓最大のチャリティ・コンサートLIVE AID（1985年）、HR/HM系のHEAR ‘N AID（1986年）、旧ソ連の麻薬撲滅運動をサポートしたMOSCOW MUSIC PEACE FESTIVAL等々……そんなチャリティ・ブームの最終盤に登場したプロジェクトでした。この企画の目玉は、豪華ミュージシャン共演によるDEEP PURPLEの「Smoke On The Water」カバー。ギラン＆アイオミだけでなく、ロジャー・テイラー＆クリス・スクワイア、ポール・ロジャース、ブライアン・メイとデイヴ・ギルモア、リッチー・ブラックモア等々など。英国ロックの英雄たちの饗宴をプロショットで楽しめます。
そして、最後に収録されているのは“ROCK AID ARMENIA”の25周年に実現したチャリティ“WhoCares”。ギラン＆アイオミを中心にしたプロジェクトで、両雄の他にジョン・ロード、ニコ・マクブレイン、ジェイソン・ニューステッド、HIMのリンデも参加した豪華メンバーの饗宴でした。“ROCK AID ARMENIA”は「Smoke On The Water」のリメイクでしたが、この時はオリジナル新曲「Out Of My Mind」「Holy Water」が書かれ、そのうち「Out Of My Mind」はクロップも製作。本作は、そのビデオ・クリップを収録しています。近年のクリップだけに超美麗なのですが、それ以上に美味しいのが曲そのもの。「Smoke On The Water」では“その他大勢の１人”でしかなかったアイオミが、ここでは完全に掌握。それこそ『FUSED』『THE DEVIL YOU KNOW』『13』のギラン版であり、『BORN AGAIN』の21世紀版を公式クオリティで楽しめるのです。
４曲・５テイクしか存在しない『BORN AGAIN』時代のプロショットに、再共演した２曲のプロモ・クリップ。イアン・ギラン＆トニー・アイオミが音を重ねたすべてのプロショットを収めきった１枚です。ギラン時代の頂点サウンドボードを集成した本編プレス２CDと併せ、映像編の最高峰作もぜひコレクションしてください。
